What To Expect
This is truly the perfect way to enjoy your evening! During this 2.5 hour sail, you will enjoy a guided tasting of the variety of wines grown & produced right here in Nova Scotia. Learn about the wineries and grapes as you sample an award-winning sparkling, a Tidal Bay (Nova Scotia's appellation wine), a rose, and a red wine. As part of this tour, you will enjoy a hands-on sailing experience along the Halifax skyline past George's Island towards McNabs Island, and finally into the narrows of the Northwest Arm to see some of the beautiful homes as the sun sets. Enjoy your time while seated at the bow, or relax with our crew at the stern of during this beautiful, intimate sailing experience.

5.00Captain Ryan and First Mate/Sommelier Finn were fantastic hosts for our wine and cheese sunset cruise. We enjoyed several wines, learned sailing techniques while "helping" to sail the boat, and laughed a lot at each other's stories. The charcuterie and additional company made for a perfect evening. Be sure to add this cruise to your Halifax visit!!

5.00The crew are friendly and very professional. At all times I felt at ease. The wines were delicious as was the charcuterie selections. This is a small group that you’re in close quarters with for the trip. I appreciated how respectful and helpful they were to all passengers.

5.00We were fortunate to take the Sunset Wine and Cheese tour this week. We had a great time sailing into the Northwest Arm and seeing a gorgeous sunset. Ryan was our captain and what great knowledge he shared on the many sites and he made sure part of the trip was by sailing. Alexandra was our deckhand, knowledgeable about wine and ensured we were enjoying ourselves. It was so great to see Ryan giving Alexandra instructions on a variety of things, he was so very supportive and gave great guidance. We had a most enjoyable time, thank you again to Ryan and Alexandra!

5.00The captain and crew were very professional. Beautiful scenery in a serene setting. The crew’s knowledge of the Nova Scotia wines pairing with the cheeses was exceptional. The local sights and history added to the overall experience.
