This is a unique outdoor package deal in Johannesburg.

09:00am: You will be picked up from a collection point within a 50km radius of Sandton.

10:00am: You will enjoy a 1.5-hour cableway experience.

11:30am: After the cableway trip you will be transported to the Harties Boat Company dock for your boat cruise.

13:00pm: You will enjoy a 2-hour lunch boat cruise.

We are offering light snack whilst on board and a cash bar. (for your own account)

15:00pm: You will return to the dock where our driver will be waiting for you to transport you back to the original collection point.

16:00pm: You will be dropped off at your original collection point.

You will be collected from the ‘My Sandton City Stop’ station at the corner of 5th Street and Maude Street, Sandton. Collection time is strictly 09h00am. Dependent on traffic conditions you will be transported approx 1-hour to Harties Cableway in Hartbeespoort for your cableway experience at 10h30am. Enjoy a scenic view over the Magaliesburg valley and Hartbeespoort dam. From up there, you can see the dam where you will experience the second leg of your tour. At 11h30, you will leave the cableway for a short ride to the boat cruise dock. At 12h45 you will board the boat for your 2-hour lunch cruise around the Hartbeespoort dam. You will enjoy a traditional South African hot and cold finger snacks, and a cash bar is available on board. (for your own account) The music on board will surely get you singing and dancing. At 15h00 after the cruise you will disembark at the dock and our driver will be waiting for you to transfer you back to your original collection point. Dependent on traffic conditions, it should take approx 1-hour. At 16h00 you will be dropped off at the original collection point.

This excursion exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide was Cole. He was very professional and kind. He picked us up on time, he took pictures of us throughout the tour, the cableway was amazing! We enjoyed an hour on top of the mountain, walking, talking and taking pictures of the beautiful surroundings. We then went went to the boat and it was FANTASTIC! Good food, good music, good vibes, good times! I thank The Tourist for a GREAT day!

A fun day out suitable for older kids and adults. The boat needs some work. Toilets were blocked and over flowing but the staff were able to fix it so just a minor inconvenience. The boat bar does not supply hard liquor. The tourist group are super friendly and very helpful.
A Must Excursion. Cable Car ride was eventful. Boat ride comfortable for ALL ages.

Stuart is owner of company. He took my husband and I to our excursion. We had a wonderful time. As we were driving to excursion he gave us history of the town, took pictures and made a wonderful video from our excursion. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend Stuart and his Tourist business. It was our 1st anniversary and my birthday. What an amazing experience we had! Stuart (and her wife, Heather) made the day extra special. We started our trip with a glass of champaine on the house (car) :) He made sure that everything run smoothly, which only left us with one option to enjoy! He also captured special moments of the tour. The views both on cableway and boat cruise were breathtaking - a day well spent.
