  It is a very interesting route around Johannesburg particularly for tourists that want a feel for Jodi. Interesting stops and opportunities to visit Museums and places of interest in JHB such as Constitutional hill, Newtown Apartheid Museum Gold reef city. Loved the route and the stops. Rude female receptionist in Rosebank on Saturday 3rd of Jan 26, unfriendly and needs to treat customers with respect and realize that maybe her signs need to be clearer. Poor poor service! Commentary needs to be updated Lillisleaf has been closed for years

  I did a private tour and the 2 guys that picked me up were so nice and personable. There names are Mogomotsi and Linda. They took me around and explained everything to me. I was even offered to bungee jump which I will do next time a visit. Mogomotsi took plenty of pictures that will last me a lifetime. I stopped and ate at Sakhumzi; South African cuizine. We had so many laughs and made so many memories together! Next time I will bring my family along! Thank you!!!

  This was a great way to see the city safely. Don’t miss the Soweto option. DT was our tour guide for that portion and he was amazing. He is a great storyteller and really engages with all of his guests. He taught us some phrases in his language and really helped us see many beautiful sides to Soweto. I learned a lot from his storytelling and energy! There was another gentleman on the tour that walked us through a memorial in Soweto and Nelson Mandela’s home, and he also did an excellent job. They both were great at showing us the serious, the fun, the beautiful, and the real sides of Soweto. It was the most memorable part of our time in Johannesburg!

  This was an excellent overview tour of the city, especially if you have limited time. Especially interesting was the add on Soweto tour: a MUST! The live guide for that tour was out standing, knowledgeable and loves his job! We do the bus in all new cities a d we’re reluctant here because holiday had the museums closed but the ride, sites and I formation were plentiful.

  I had a wonderful hop on hop off bus experience in Joburg on Saturday. The starting point was easy to find, and the staff at the office were friendly and gave clear information. On the bus, the team was professional and even collected litter left by others. The tour itself was excellent, full of useful and engaging details about the city.   DT had HIGH energy !! He made the tour soooooo fun! Highly recommend. Linda the driver was also amazing. I had lots of fun!

  Spent a day on this hop on, hop off bus and it was great. Great customer service with headphones included. Main stops were Constitution Hill and the Mining District. Great way to see the city. Highly recommend.

  Started the tour at the first stop. My tickets were purchased online through Viator so I did not know they needed to be exchanged at their office for paper tickets. The tour operators worked hard to sort out the problem, which they resolved quickly and the bus was able to leave on time. The driver did well, but we went down a street with a lot of low hanging branches that we had to duck on the upper deck. The driver had to take a detour to get away from the trees, but the branches made a mess. At the next stop the driver explained the detour and then came upstairs to sweep up the debris. Headsets were provided and the pre-recorded docents were clear in their explanations/descriptions throughout the tour. The tour covers a good portion of the city and gives a good idea of its many contradictions, the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots.’ I recommend the tour.
