  Take some shoes for Kuza Cave as the rocks are sharp. Take some insect repellant for Jozani Forrest and know that the Rock restaurant is not really in the ocean. It is just surrounded by water during the high tide. We it was low tide when we were there so we just walked right up to it.

  I don't think you can miss such an experience when you come here. We were lucky enough to have “SULLEMANI” as a companion which was something unique. Impressive attention for us all and a polite few. Recommended experience, I hope you have the same Fortune

  Very nice day! Beautiful places and discoveries. Our guide was great. He spoke good French and we learned a lot. It was very interesting. We recommend!!!

  Everything was great, our guide shared with us a lot of practical information and fun fact about the places we visited and about Zanzibar. It is definitely worth visiting!

  Great day tour out of Stone Town. My driver James was lovely, gave great information about each place, was happy for me to direct how long we stayed at each place. Jozani NP is great, a lovely walk through forest and mangroves. Red Colobus with babies are very cute, easy to see, very close. Swimming at Kuza Cave was just lovely. Paje Beach is very long & beautiful beach, tide was out, but you could swim with a walk out. Great bars along the beach. You can choose to have lunch at The Rock or not, and just visit that beach area and the restaurant, but not go inside.   Excellent tour. I booked the tour for my friend and I. We were not expecting a private tour !!! James was amazing !! Funny, knowledgeable and doing everything to make sure we had a great day.

  Half of the activity involved driving, as our hotel is located in north part of Zanzibar. The Rock restaurant was beautiful and great seafood! Jozani forrest was out of a movie set - proper jungle and a lot amazing monkeys, mangroves where also fantastic. Kuza cave for a short stop was nice, Paje beach very crowded, worth to stop for a bit while the tide is low. Overall great trip, but would love to have more engaged guide, as Hasan was bit tired and tried to find some time inbetween to take a nap in the car :)

  This was my fave excursion on my trip to Zanzibar. A lot of the other excursions were sea/beach based so we were looking forward to doing something a little different. First up our tour/taxi guide was fab! His name was James and of all our drivers he was the best, he was happy and talkative but not pushy or trying to upsell anything at any point. When we got to Jozani forest he introduced to a guide who walked us round the forest and showed us some of the local trees and plants. He also lead us to a spot where there were monkeys both up in the trees and on the ground playing in the middle of the forest. They hadn’t been fed and were there very naturally, we got some great pictures! We then got taken to the mangroves which was interesting to see, especially as the tide was out. Next we went to Kuza Cave, this place was really cool. The vibe at the top was very welcoming and then it’s not far at all to get into the cave, the water was crystal clear and lovely to swim in, it was fresh water and cooler than outside but not too cold. Nice and refreshing after being in the forest. There is also a little Swahili house that James walked us round. Next was Paje beach for a bite to eat, James walked us to the beach and told us to meet him back at a specific bar when we were done. We had lovely food and drinks on the beach and then went back to James a little early as we wanted to look around some of the stalls. He was so patient with us and found us quite funny as we kept buying things. Next we went to Rock Resteraunt - we decided not to eat there as it was pretty expensive but we got some good photos. James kept jokingly trying to walk us past more souvenir stalls but we had run out of spending money by that point, which he found quite funny!

  We had a wonderful day today visiting Jozani forest, mangrove forest, Kuza cave, Paje beach and The Rick restaurant. Our guide (sorry didn’t get the name) was perfect. He was knowledgeable, telling us about Zanzibar history, also very kind and accommodating, kept asking whether we are ok and what we want to see next. The driver was also 5 star. Overall good experience and would recommend 100%.

  An amazing experience visiting Jozani Forest, The Rock Restaurant, Kuza Cave, and Paje Beach! Our tour guide was excellent knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. We loved learning about the red and blue monkeys, followed by stunning ocean views at The Rock Restaurant. Kuza Cave was a peaceful spot to swim in crystal-clear water, and Paje Beach offered the perfect relaxing end to the day with its white sand and turquoise sea.
