Immerse yourself in a breathtaking Alpine wonderland on this guided day trip from Interlaken to the Top of Europe. Travel by coach through the Jungfrau region to Grindelwald. Take the gondola from Grindelwald Terminal and change at Eiger Glacier station to the cogwheel train up the Jungfraujoch pass to arrive at Europe’s highest railway station. Soak up a stunning panorama of snowcapped Alps, spot the longest glacier of the alps, and walk through the one-of-a-kind Ice Palace!

As the Jungfraujoch is covered in snow all year round, we recommend bringing a warm jacket, shoes with a solid rubber sole and sun glasses to experience all indoor and outdoor attractions. Please note that there is no possibility to rent clothes or shoes on top of the Jungfraujoch.
Routing and means of transport may have to be amended during maintenance work and depending on seasonal schedules without prior notice. A minimum stay of 2 hours on the top of Jungfraujoch is always guaranteed.
Recommendations by Jungfrau Railways to enjoy the stay at high altitude: 1) You should be physically fit and healthy. 2) Good footwear is important for getting around safely. 3) Not recommended for pregnant women from the 7th month or with high-risk pregnancies, and for children under 2 years due to difficulties equalising pressure and insufficient fluid intake.

Head to the Outdoor Interlaken Shop in the late morning to meet your guide and board the coach. Sit back as you travel through the magnificent Jungfrau region to the famous mountain resort of Grindelwald.
Grindelwald Terminal
Board the gondola Eiger Express of the newly opened V-Cableway for a spectacular ride to the Eiger Glacier station, where you change to the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch. Stunning views of the world-famous triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau accompany you on the way and the imposing Eiger North Face seems to be within one’s grasp.

5.00I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Switzerland. This experience was one of the key moments of my trip. The tour guides were great and very knowledgeable. The views were absolutely stunning! 10/10 would recommend!

3.00I'm giving less stars because the tour is very expensive. We get like 15mins each to see the multiple attractions mentioned in the description. We got enough time to explore only at the top of Europe. The guide was lovely but a bit impatient. She just joined the queues before the meet up time, making us rush to catch up.

3.00It is not worth paying so much to go up 10 minutes to see a mountain and die of cold, it is a place that is overrated! We honestly have to save it! It is very expensive and complicated to go up!

5.00Wow! First, must say kudos to the tour guides for navigating 64 people on this jam packed tour! Three types of transport: bus, cable car and many trains! Top of Europe was amazing and a must see! We were super lucky to have a clear, sunny day! The views were absolutely amazing! This feels like a full day tour, but definitely worth it!

5.00Wow, this experience made our short stay in Interlaken absolutely worth it. We had Thomas as our guide and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed his job and the history he is able to relay to the guests along the hike! It was very manageable physically and the views were totally breathtaking. We got lucky that it was an incredibly clear and sunny day at the top of the mountain. Be prepared for any motion sickness due to the travel to get up to the mountain but otherwise this was great!
