I have done food tours all over the world and this would be right up there with the best. Our guide Krishna was incredible, full of knowledge about Nepalese culture and cuisine and more than happy to share that with us all. If you are interested in learning about Nepalese cuisine please choose this food tour you won’t be sorry. P.S. Krishna will not let you go hungry so advise to come hungry.

Our tour guide Jamuna met us at our hotel and we walked to the Asan Market. I was glad she taught us how to navigate the streets as it is not super easy. She mixed educating us about the culture, the city, religions, and the Food! She adjusted every part of the tour to meet our needs and it far exceeded our expectations, and we had to skip dinner as we were so full of amazing Nepali food. Most of the food we tried comes from the Newari people and the highlight was the buffalo momo. We also had Newari Khaja (buffalo with an amazing mix of nuts, beans, and a unique kind of rice. Every place we stopped was off the beaten patch and we never would have found it without Jamuna. I could not recommend this tour, or our guide, more!

The tour was great very interesting and informative! The food was very filling and tasty we walked all over the city and got to see tons of sites.
