5.00We had so much fun on this tour! Deepak was knowledgeable about the foods we tried as well as the history of Nepal, its politics, religions, and culture. He provided fun facts as well as answered all of our off the wall questions. We booked during monsoon season but the rain didn’t dampen our spirits and we’re glad we made this part of our trip. All of the food was delicious, but my absolute favorite was the first Newari dish closely followed by the lassi. I highly recommend booking this tour! Pro tip: book the 15:45 (345pm) tour; have yourself a medium size breakfast and then hold out until the tour starts. So much delicious food, you won't go hungry.

4.00The food choices were all good and for the most part tasty. Def tried some things I normally would not try. I took one star away because we had three dishes at one place and I felt like part of the fun should be to try each dish at a new place. I also was not a fan of the Momo we had (I have had better in town). Our guide was really good and very knowledgeable.

5.00This food tour was AMAZING! Food is the best way to experience a local culture, and Deepak knows that and shows that. He’s so knowledgeable and passionate about food and Nepali culture. He himself has done a lot of traveling, so he knows what we’re looking for and can oftentimes compare many different culture aspects. This is a GREAT amount of food. In fact, come hungry! You’ll get healthy portions on the different stops, and you’ll be ready for the next stop/tastings after a healthy walk throughout historic Kathmandu. You’ll need that time to digest! ;) I would absolutely do this again, and highly recommend to anyone and everyone! Thanks, Deepak!

5.00Arrive hungry! We stopped at 5 places and had 9 dishes, I was so full at the end I took a 2 hour nap! It was a great tour filled with a mixture of Nepalese History, backgrounds about food, the holidays, and how dishes are similar or different in other countries! We were able to ask questions, laugh, and walk away with a deep appreciation for the local food. It was a great tour. But seriously, come hungry.
