Activity: Sit On Top Kayaking on the sheltered waters of Castlewellan Lake, located within the stunning Castlewellan Forest Park Enjoy top-of-the-range Sit On Top (SOT) kayaks in a safe and scenic setting Warm welcome on arrival and full access to centre facilities, including changing rooms and hot showers Meet our team at our lakeside base at Life Adventure Centre All equipment provided: SOT Kayaks Wetsuits Buoyancy Aids Paddles Accessories Start and finish at Life Adventure Centre, lakeside at Castlewellan Lake Important: For watersport hire, children and youth (17 years and under) must be accompanied by a participating adult (18+ years) at all times during the activity. Equipment will not be issued otherwise.

5.00We booked a couple of tandem sit on top kayaks as part of our weekend camping in Castlewellan. We paddled all the way up and visited the small island on the lake. Our girls are aged 5 and 8. They loved it. Our kayaks were ready to go when we arrived. The staff member was friendly and helpful. He quickly got us organised with wetsuits and life jackets. The changing and showering facilities were fantastic. Particularly when we got back. Our girls were a little cold so the hot showers were welcomed. We will definitely be back.
