Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle in Tomor lake in Holy mount of Tomor is an amazing experience. Tomori is the most unique and enigmatic mountain in Albania. It has been called the throne of the gods for its height, ferocity, beauty and riddle.
According to mythology, Pelasgian Dodona or "Bad Winter" Dodona reigned there. There are areas of everlasting snow as well as many water springs some even weird like the one in Monster (Kuçedra)Tradition says that it is commanded by a monster who drops it and cuts the water when it wants.There are two lakes in Tomor as two treasures hidden in his heart. They are surrounded by wildlife, old villages, mountaintops and hills and are a small paradise hidden in the giant Tomor mountain. We have found the most fantastic way for enjoying them through the sport of kayaking, stand up paddle and swimming.

Start off the day on a 4x4 Jeep and go hike the Tomor mountain. Once we get to the Tomor mountain area, we will head to the lake to enjoy some Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle. Mount Tomor is one of the most revered and respected mountains in Albania because it served as a residence for the Pelasgian-Illyrian gods since ancient times. Tomor is considered to be the house of the gods, which is why it is called the “Holy Mountain,” as a mountain with supernatural powers. This is why locals go up to the top of the mountain to pray and meditate. A picnic lunch is also included in this experience. It’s the perfect way to explore the sacred mountain while taking in the spectacular mountain scenery!

5.00It was a fun trip with the Albanian Rafting Group. IAlbania is truly beautiful. Alma and her team are very helpful and friendly. The guest houses we stayed in were perfect. Simple but clean and set in stunning locations . We did different activities every day. The river walking was excellent . It is like canyoning - floating along the river and jumping off rocks. The food in Albania is outstanding - very fresh , healthy and tasty. All locally produced. Overall all an amazing trip which I would highly recommend.

5.00The views... Holy Moly were they something to behold! The guides were excellent! Very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. The hike was amazing (the sun was very strong but we managed), after the hike we went to the most picturesque lake I have ever seen. Here we kayaked, swam and paddle boarded for a number of hours, whilst the guides cooked us up a picnick in the shade. 10/10 would highly recommend. Also learned a lot about the histories and legends of the mountains and castle of Berat! The drive was borderline a rolarcoaster with how offroad it was but that added to the fun Hahaha.

5.00The complete package: lots of adventure, relaxing and fun interaction with the guides! The 4x4 brings you to amazing views and through surprising roads (at times felt like riding a rollercoaster). We were a groups of friends and could not have had a better activity for our first day in Berat, would not have booked it anywhere else! We did 4 hours of 4x4, 2 hours of hiking and 2 hours of swimming with a very good and fresh traditional lunch. Perfect price for what we got. Thank you so much to the crew!

5.00Great day and fantastic trip in Tomori mountain.We went for kayaking in the lake of Tomori mountain and it was fantastic.We started with 4x4 cars for about 1 hour and then did a great hiking from our guid.He was very proffesional and showed us the beauty of Tomori.Then we went to the lake for kayaking and the water was amazing.In the end we did a beautiful picnic with amazing traditional food.Fantastic day😁

5.00Kayak in Tomori mountain.Me and my friends did a fantastic trip in Tomori mountain while we was in Berat.Starting with 4x4 cars driving for about 1 hour off-road and then hiking for about 1.5 hours and seeing amazing views.After that we did kayaking in the lake of Tomori and the water was perfet even to swim.Staff was very nice and professional.They even did a picnic with amazing food for us.We enjoyed every part of that trip.

5.00SUPER ADVENTURE.It was an amazing trip.I was in Berat with my family and decided to go in Tomori mountain for kayaking.We traveled offroad for about 1 hour with 4x4 cars,after that we did an amazing hiking with fantastic view and after that kayak in the lake of Tomori.In the end we did a fantastic picnic with amazing food.Our guid Sajdi was a fantastic guy and very professional.We enjoyed every moment there with him.
Super cool trip: 4x4 offroad, hike, kayak, sup and a nice lunch

4.00Had a great day. First a cool off-road ride with a jeep, then a 2 hour hike through a beautiful environment to a beautiful lake with super nice water. In between kayaking and supping a lunch prepared on site.
