Get ready to mark this off your bucket-list! Experience Churchill Downs Racetrack, the most well-known racing venue in the world. Kentucky Derby Museum includes daily historic walking tours, two levels of family-friendly interactive permanent & temporary exhibits, “The Greatest Race,” a 360-degree immersive sound and visual experience that’ll get your heart racing and emotions soaring, and a chance to meet the Museum's resident Thoroughbred and companion pony. You will also have access to the Gift Shop, Kentucky fare in the Derby Cafe Express, and much more!

A small amount of walking is involved if you choose to enjoy the Guided Track Visit of Churchill Downs.

Wheelchair accessible: Free wheelchair rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis upon request. You are welcome to bring your own manual wheelchair, motorized wheelchair or electric mobility scooter.

An induction loop is available for hearing impaired.

Tours are outdoors and will depart rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the Museum will do its best to reschedule your tour experience.

Parking is available in front of the Museum. On race days during the Churchill Downs Racetrack events, there will be a charge for parking in this lot.

Great museum of the history of the Kentucky Derby. Great displays. Loved the special display they had on the 2nd floor of Secretariat. What a gorgeous horse! They also had a display of fashion that was worn at the Derby. My ticket also included a tour of Churchill Downs, which is right next door. Unfortunately, it was raining and we couldn't go on the track.

Amazing experience!!! Displays are beautiful. The Churchill Downs tour was awesome. Staff was very friendly.

Enjoyed the outside tour..wish we could see little more of track and stuff outside instead of going just to the owners box area..like maybe walk in tunnels under track or see thr winners circle a little better..really is a pretty place

It was so neat to learn all about the history of the Kentucky Derby. It was great to get to see the Churchill Downs track and see a race.
