The 6-day Mount Kilimanjaro climb via the Marangu Route is one of the most classic and comfortable ways to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” it is the only Kilimanjaro route offering overnight stays in mountain huts rather than tents, providing added comfort during the climb.
This well-paced itinerary allows climbers to trek through diverse landscapes, from lush rainforest and scenic moorland to alpine desert and the glaciated summit zone. A dedicated acclimatization day at Horombo Hut helps improve comfort and summit success.

Day 1: Moshi – Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut (7 km | 4–5 hrs) After breakfast in Moshi, drive to Marangu Gate for registration. Trek through lush rainforest to Mandara Hut (2,750m). Day 2: Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut (11 km | 5–6 hrs) Leave the forest behind and hike through scenic moorland with great views to Horombo Hut (3,780m). Day 3: Horombo Hut – Acclimatization Day Enjoy a rest day at Horombo Hut with optional short hikes around the area to aid acclimatization. Day 4: Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut (12 km | 5–6 hrs) Trek across the alpine desert saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks to reach Kibo Hut (4,700m). Day 5: Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut (19 km | 11–14 hrs) Midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Horombo Hut. Day 6: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate – Moshi (18 km | 5–7 hrs) Descend through moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate. Receive your Kilimanjaro certificate and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.

5.00Octavian, the key person for Incredible Adventures, is a great guy. He anticipated our needs and customised the adventure to our needs. The selection of team members to support our journey was very well done. The guides were great, both Rafael and Gasper, helping to ensure that we enjoyed Incredible food, Incredible views and essentially, and Incredible and memorable experience. What is significant and heartwarming was that Octavian was ready and willing to go beyond the call of duty to ensure a wonderful experience for us. Coming back in near future for another experience with this outfit.

5.00The experience here was invaluable! The guides were cheerful and made the climb fun! It was my first time climbing a mountain over 4000m, but thanks to the porters' perfect preparation, I was able to reach the summit! I'm very surprised that even a beginner like me was able to climb Kilimanjaro, the highest peak on the continent! If I have the chance again, I'd like to do it with the same company and the same members! This experience made us more than just friends! I passed by guides from various companies on the way, but this company was definitely the most cheerful and fun! I recommend it!

5.00The experience there was the best of my life. I love the guides here. It's not an easy climb, but the staff will give you their full support so you can climb with confidence. At the end of the mountain you will find irreplaceable memories.

Our trek guides, (Alex, Rafael and Manme) were professional, very caring and well able to anticipate our needs. 5.00We had an amazing 4 days hiking trip to the top of beautiful Mt Meru. Our Guide Nelson and the team took good care of us and each other. Together we had a lot of fun and all staff members are passion about their jobs. Nelson is so down to earth and he made us feel very safe on the whole trip. Climbing Mt Meru is a group effort and I couldn't be more grateful for such an amazing experience with this group. Asante Sana!

5.00I and my family had a fantastic 6 days safari. Incredible Africa Adventures team was super helpful and always responsive, our guide Peter did a fantastic job, he was full of information, knowledgeable and interesting thing about him, he was never intrusive and had ability for finding unique animals and wildlife moments. Our safety was at highest priority and all COVID precautions are followed throughout the whole trip and there's absolutely no crowds. We highly recommend Incredible Africa Adventures.
