  The information provided is interesting. The places of interest are fairly close and not too difficult to find. However, it took 30 min and a phone call to the company to get the app running. It doesn’t help that most of downtown had 1 bar on the phone so it kept cutting out or spinning.

  After reading reviews regarding the difficulty getting to the directions for the scavenger hunt I was a little worried about buying this. We did anyways and very glad we did. The company reached out to me after my purchase and advised to either sign up on a link they provided or they could do it for me if i provided my email. I gave them my email and within mins we were good to go. The weather didn't cooperate so sadly we didn't finish. We got more than half way and myself and kids really enjoyed this! Def will look at doing more of these in other cities we visit!

  Very disappointing French experience from start to finish! First of all, after several attempts to validate our purchase on the supplier’s website, we had to call and wait to receive instructions by email. The process is not automated, let alone clear. Then, several errors in the questions or answers of the French version (e.g. having us find an i instead of a t to constitute the word sought, having us count the red signs we cross on the route but never asking for the answer). As for him, the last clue was supposed to be in front of City Hall but he was rather behind! And the ultimate: after answering the last question, we find ourselves on an error page! Pay $34.50 for this??? Besides, this activity should be called a rally and not a treasure hunt...

  

• Not accessible for those with walkers wheelchairs or strollers

  Wish it was fully accessible for those with disabilities. I.e. wheelchairs. We found it very difficult to get around and a lot of going back-and-forth. We were unable to do most of the park scavenger hunt due to the non-accessibility.

  Super fun activity! It took a few minutes for the Viator email to come through to give the coupon code for the actual website to redeem the hunt, but just be patient and it will work. The final challenge didn’t work. The website gave me an error and when I tried to go back to the previous page, it took me to the home page. But whatever. Still had a fun time doing something a little different with coworkers while we were all out of town for work.

  Very good tour. Good history lesson. Finding parking can be hard. We ended up parking on the street. A little difficult to start it but we did figure it out.

  Lots of needless back and forth walking. Interesting facts. Quests were somewhat tedious. Only made it 41% thru before group lost interest.

  Fun way to explore Kingston with teenagers. Not too hard, not too much walking, interesting info. I am glad the other reviewers wrote about how to access the tickets or I would have thought it was as a scam with all the emails/ trying to access the tour. Also they said there was going to be a bonus question at the end about the number of red plaques, but there never was. Otherwise it was great!

• Frustration with true booking but the Tour was a lot of fun. Family enjoyed it.

  It was a battle of frustration booking and getting the instructions to start this tour. It should be made clearer that purchasing here will require you to purchase and use a coupon on the actual site which the tour instructions start! I found the information in my email and after wasting 30 minutes trying to figure it out leaving me angry with my family who were also getting impatient. Not a great start to a family day. Other then the rocky start, we truly enjoyed the tour. It was a lot of fun deciphering the codes and find the answers. What I truly enjoyed was that it took us to places I normally, even as a tourist I would not have noticed. Kingston has a lot of history and although we learned it all in High School, now as an adult and seeing how a lot of people are wanting to erase it, coming to actually walk and see where the birth of our beautiful country started makes you appreciate how there still are buildings and monuments still being preserved. I would recommend this tour. Really makes you look up. We did encounter a problem. We did count the red plaques but were never prompted to enter the number. And on the Cartwright answer, in the clue it should state that numbers don’t count.

  

  

  

• An interesting way to learn about the history of the city

  I love how interactive this experience was. The only puzzle I was confused on was counting the number of features of the facade of the pumphouse to get a 4-letter word. I think that one needs clearer instructions or a new way of reaching that word. Everything else was really fun!
