Barong and Keris dance is one of the populer dance in Bali and it usually performed during the Temple ceremony. This dance is a classic example of balinese way of acting out mythology, resulting in myth and history being blended into one reality. The barong has a strange creature, look like lion, propelled by two men like a circus clown down. The widow-witch rangda is bad thought and certainly not the short of thing you’d like to meet on midnight stroll throught the rice paddies. This performance duration is an hour.
