Our fleet of wooden vessels are unique and allow guests to embrace the ambience and history of Knysna perfectly. Currently we are running Coquette, our 102 year old Mahogany launch and we are very excited to be shortly welcoming two new additions, Elegance, an 89 year old Gaff rigged Ketch and Pamela, a vintage mahogany dauntless cruiser.

Magic Lagoon Charters offers classic cruises on the Knysna Lagoon aboard vintage wooden boats. We embark at Thesen Island in Knysna for round trips to the Knysna Heads. Food and drinks are available. We are currently running a Super Winter Special aboard Coquette our 102 year old Mahogany Launch

5.00We had a great cruise on the knysna lagoon. Unathi was a great skipper with interesting facts and looked after us very well. All the staff at reception were also very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and highly recommended
Went through the lagoon to the Knysna heads and came back to where we got picked up from

5.00We loved the boat, we think it was the perfect choice, and the cruise was wonderful and we had a great skipper. We had members of all ages onboard and each of us enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend it!

5.00My wife and I were running several minutes behind our scheduled cruise time due to traffic and road construction on the N2. The staff called to ensure we were on our way and aided us in finding the dock and even waited for our arrival. The staff were friendly, professional, and truly hospitable. Our skipper was an exceptional guide and had immense knowledge of the region. The scenery was quite stunning and an excellent cruise overall. Highly recommend if you are looking for serenity on the water.

5.00We did a great tour in a small group to the Knysna Heads, met nice people and our skipper Anuti (?? Unfortunately I forgot the name again 🙈) was great! He told a lot and nicely! I can only recommend him and his crew! LG 🌻 Freya from Germany.

5.00Had the best and smooth experience. From finding the place , the reception the boat ride with Cam was exceptional 😁. Jody and the rest of the crew working that day were so sweet and nice . 10/10 recommend❤️
