Join us for the ultimate sailing experience whilst soaking up the golden hues of the Knysna sunset. This 2.5 hour experience departs from the Knysna waterfront and glides through the Knysna estuary up to the rugged headlands and out to the vast Indian Ocean. Let the natural beauty of Knysna entertain you from the breathtaking coastline to the diverse marine life. Included with this unique experience is an amazing Mediterranean platter and a complimentary glass or two of chilled South African Cap Classique while you watch the sun sink into the horizon.

Vegetarian/ Vegan/ Gluten-free options are available, please advise at time of booking if required
Bring along a warm top or jacket as its generally cooler out at sea then on land
We have a no-shoe policy on the vessel. Shoes must be removed before boarding. Socks can be worn by those that will feel more comfortable.
The charter will be accompanied by other passengers.

Knysna Heads
The Knysna Heads is our only passage to sea, if sea and weather conditions allow we will proceed through the Knysna Heads and out into the Indian Ocean for some ultimate sailing
Knysna Lagoon
Once we depart from the Knysna Waterfront we sail through the Knysna Lagoon and make our way towards the Knysna Heads. In the event of poor sea conditions at the Knysna Heads that prevents us from exiting the heads and going out to sea, we will carry on the charter with in the Knysna Lagoon. Typically on every charter the light dinner is served on our way back to the Knysna Waterfront on the Knysna lagoon.

Gratuities
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available on board at the cash bar. The crew will run a tab during the charter and payment will be taken at the end of the charter

5.00A lovely evening, we met and checked in 30 mins early as requested, we left on time, sailed to the "Heads" and the Captain decided it was safe to sail from the Lagoon into the Indian Ocean, running parallel to the Coast, returning to the Lagoon for wine and snacks, the experience was well worth taking part in.

5.00A very nice evening. The crew brought us (one couple) while the other 8 passengers had withdrawn from the cruise fearing bad weather. Markus, Eastman and Ruben were very caring for us and it ended our holiday in Knysna in style. The crew is local and familiar with sailing around the coast , and the meal served very hearty - shrimp, cold meat, French cheese, fruit. Do not hesitate! It is wonderful!

5.00Captain Steve and his crew was amazing. They were attentive and made our sailing trip an unforgettable experience. We went out into the ocean and enjoyed riding the waves in the very well kept sailing boat. The bubbly and snacks were delicious. I would recommend this excursion to anyone
