  I had a wonderful experience with Freddie on the Koroyanitu Hike. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining as I was traveling solo. It was great to experience the mountains of Fiji with Freddie pointing out wild turmeric, ginger, guava, soursop, and herbal remedies while discussing the history of several villages and tribes. The hike itself was beautiful and not difficult. Even made a friend along the way. Freddie worked hard to make sure I had a good experience. Even got down on one knee so I could see a parrot in the trees! Heard a lot birds but most of them were being shy. I'm looking forward to returning to Fiji and signing up for more excursions with Fascination Fiji.

• Stunning waterfall and panoramic views

  This was a lovely hike with so many gorgeous views, beautiful plants and flowers and birds, and a stunning waterfall. The water was so refreshing to go swimming in (and not too cold). Freddy told me a lot about the local plants and fruits, including the wild ginger and tumeric. This was a highlight of my week in Fiji.

  I have been to Fiji many times in the past, but I have always wanted to see the wild interior of the country but didn’t know how. well on a boat trip out of Denerau, I pointed at some of the distant peaks and asked one of the guides “how can I get there”?? His reply was simple, he gave me the contact information for Fascination Fiji!. I immediately booked for their waterfall hike trip and went to bed excited about the next day’s adventure. Freddy picked me up from my hotel, and off we went. Firstly let me say that Freddy is the top shelf in all areas! He’s a great host, has wonderful Fijian historical and flora and fauna knowledge to share, is extremely friendly and courteous, and went to great lengths to make sure everyone was safe before during and after our trek. What a wonderful guide! I couldn’t ask for a better host! The hike was so beautiful!! Definitely a bit of vertical gain, but Freddy made sure we were all handling the terrain well. First down and though the forest canopy to the stream with several small water falls and pools, Freddy giving us information on the plants and animals along the way, then across the stream and up up up to covered lookout where we could see out into the ocean and Western Division island chain along side of the steep and lush cliffs , thick and green with life, Then up and down and up again, met a cow taking a nap, and a horse waddling down the trail along the way, back into the canopy and finally up to the falls which was amazing! Freddy put together snacks and I took a plunge into the fall’s pool which was very fresh. Freddy being the legend that he is also took lots of photos of us along the way so we would have some memories to share . Add to that all the beautiful plants, trees, flowers and Freddy’s description of how they were and are utilized by local Fijians was a wonderful bonus to this already beautiful hiking experience. Freddy also shared so much great information about Fijian culture and lifestyle while we were driving to and from the trail head, really seeing how every day Fijians live and go about their day.! Such a great trip seeing the real FIji! I can not rank this experience with Fascination Fiji and Freddy our guide any. less than beyond excellent!!! I still want more so I am planning to book the afternoon / night hike and stargaze trek with Fascination Fiji when I am back in town in a couple of weeks. Hats off to you Fascination Fiji and to you Freddy for showing us the real Fiji! ’ll be back for more as soon as possible!

  Freddie was informative, cheery & lots of fun. He was the quintessential professional ensuring we were comfy & safe at all times. Highly recommend the hike & especially with Freddie!!

  Fantastic day with Freddy. He is an excellent guide and a wealth of knowledge about Fiji culture, history, and the rain forest. The forest and views were spectacular. We learned so much and shared many laughs. The swim under the water falls was so refreshing. I can't recommend it enough. Get to see and know the real Fiji. • Great Hike in Fiji's Mountains

  Beautiful hike in the mountains of Fiji to a waterfall. Challenging trails, partly through the river, great views and pleasant refreshment in the river and waterfall. Ray did a great job and the tour was absolutely worthwhile.

  We had a wonderful time on our hike with our tour guide Ray. We enjoyed learning about Fijian culture, natural medicines and seeing the beautiful Fijian mountain range. We will definetly be doing another tour on our next Fijian holiday, it is highly recommended!

  

• Extraordinarily fascinating Fijian scenery

  Fascination Fiji truly stands for it's name: Fiji has possibly numerous fascinating parts, one of which I certainly got to experience in this stunningly gorgeous national park. The hike itself was no less ordinary forest hike, crossing some wild trails, river crossings, but the mega highlight took me by amazing surprise: a secret and extraordinary waterfall that blew me away by its sheer majesticity and the scenery it offered!!. Most importantly the guide Ray accompanied by Freddy were wonderful. Ray is really friendly, great to chat with and is very flexible. Freddy is a newbie, but a charming guide to watch out for. Overall, I rate this experience more than 5 stars and would really recommend!! My best wishes to this company, Ray and Freddy

  Don’t go with them. Canceled the tour in last minute even though I sent a message to them to reconfirm the pickup time and location . They didn’t answer. Such a suck holiday ruined. It’s the last fullday stayed in Fiji. Let me paid a lot to join the other tour in limited time . They are irreliable and irresponsible.

• A fascinating time being in a different part of the world

  The local guide picked me up from the hotel in Nadi where I was staying. We headed towards Singatoka then drove out along the firetrail through mountainous country until we reached a village where the hike started. The walk in total was around 8 klms. We covered firetrails , single tracks, crossed dry creek beds until we reached this beautiful waterfall. I sat in the pool at the base of the waterfall with the water cascading over me. The guide and I returned the same way back to the village where we started. Back at the village the locals put on a nice Fijian lunch which was nice and relaxing, then it was back to Nadi. By the way when we were at the waterfall which was high up in the mountains the guide pointed out the location of Plantation Island and Malolo Islands. It was Plantation Island wher My wife and I headed for the final four days of our Fijian experience.
