Swimming with the majestic whale sharks in La Paz is an experience like no other. Once onboard your air-conditioned vehicle, leave Los Cabos and enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to the format capital, La Paz. As you pass by the Pacific Ocean, look out for the giant Humpback whales as they breach and play in the deep blue sea.

Arriving at the cosmopolitan boardwalk of La Paz, meet your expert guide and local boat captains, and get kitted out with your snorkel gear. Board the local style "panga" boat and cruise into the main bay. Home to whale sharks every winter, this is their feeding ground, and the conditions provide plenty of krill for them to feed on. Once alongside the whale sharks, slip into the Ocean and swim with them in their natural habitat. Your marine mammal guide will always be with you, giving the best recommendations on making the experience unforgettable. After your once-in-a-lifetime swim, head back to the boardwalk and stroll to the local seafood restaurant. Regional dishes are included as well as soft drinks and water. Enjoy your well-deserved meal before boarding the air-conditioned vehicle.

5.00An amazing experience! Observing wild animals can be a tricky proposition: you want so desperately to see these miracles of nature, but often it can come at a cost to the animals. Mario is so passionate about these sharks and the environment! It was a joy to learn about whale sharks and how the citizens of La Paz work to protect their ecological wonders. He and Beto, our captain, were fantastic guides and stewards of the whale sharks. The actual dive can honestly be a bit hectic, but it is so worth it to see these beautiful animals up close while maintaining a respectful distance. It was a heart-stopping, amazing experience! We also had the good fortune to see a manta ray on our dive, and were escorted back to the marina by some playful bottlenose dolphins. Completely recommend!

5.00Mario was amazing he was so fun , knowledgeable and made it such a great family experience. He even helped each of my kids one on one to make sure they saw the whale sharks. Definitely would do it again the most incredible day.

5.00Had an amazing time with these incredible animals! Mario and Chiquis were excellent guides throughout this experience and made sure we were safe and that we had a great time. The trip is highly regulated, so we could only spend 2 hours on the water, but it was more than enough time to have multiple opportunities to find and swim with the whale sharks. Lunch was also good back in La Paz. Serrano, our driver, was very friendly and made sure we had a smooth ride to and from San Jose del Cabo. Would definitely recommend!

5.00Joe was fantastic and so was the driver of the boat mi mama y mi tata. Fantastic experience really cared about teaching us and showing us. It is not easy for the boat driver to perfectly position you so that you can chase down the whale sharks and they did an awesome job as a team.
