Fannette Island

Fannette is the only island to be found in all of Lake Tahoe. It is located in beautiful Emerald Bay on the west shore of the lake. A sparsely timbered, brush covered upthrust of granite that rises 150 feet above the water, Fannette Island was not always known by that name. During the past 100 years it has been known as Coquette, Fannette, Baranoff, Dead Man's, Hermit's, and Emerald Isle. Fannette was the name that finally stuck.

My Besties came to town to celebrate our yearly gathering. The whole experience was wonderful. Starting from our bus driver picking us up from the Golden Nugget, to the charming lady at the ticket counter and on the Miss Dixie II . Friendly, knowledgeable, staff. Captain Danny was very charming. Thank you all for a great wonderful day with my besties.

This was a first time for this cruise tour. It was beautiful scenery after snow ❄️ season but had a little snow on mountains still left to look at. Very relaxing, tranquil and worth the time frame. Nice open bar and snacks to eat for pricing that wasn’t too bad. Very nice experience

This is a breathtaking way to view Lake Tahoe. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. I highly recommend this experience. We had lunch and drinks on the boat. The drinks were gorgeous.
