5.00We enjoyed a New Years Eve cruise aboard the Le Journey Luxury boat. Andy was a super cruise director who arranged many activities in the rooftop bar prior to the New Year Countdown. Excursions were well organised and Andy’s commentary was informative. Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Highly recommended

5.00We stayed 1 night in Ha Long Bay with Le Journey. Transfers were effortless. We loved our room, there was nothing short of any hotel room, and the view was great. I would say a cruise stay like this is a must to experience the nature of Ha long bay. Cruise manager Andy is very efficient, running for almost every job and obviously loving his job. While activities and food aren’t the topics of this ship’s success, it’s unfair to give it an overall experience score of 4 Ace.

2.00Ha Long Bay is incredible, I just wish the one night cruise on Le Journey Premiere was the same. The staff were all very friendly. But the boat is outdated. In some places the floor literally has holes in it, bathroom doors in bedrooms barely close, and even one of the life preservers was cracked open and missing a large portion. Food quantity was generous, but not amazing quality and be careful of drink prices. For a family of four over one day just ordering soda or juice at meals cost us $43 USD, very expensive by Vietnam rates. The excursions also left a lot of be had. We didn’t get a tour at all but were left on our own to try to google and Wikipedia sites to learn more about the history and importance. Also when we traveled, end of December, each spot was SO crowded. At times it felt like we were moving a long without cattle. Would have been nice to time things to avoid crowds. Ha Long Bay would do great to create an ecotourism option that is more exclusive. All in all the Bay is amazing but I wouldn’t recommend the Le Journal Premere as the cruise. Note traveled with two adults and two teenagers.

5.00It was a marvelous trip thanks to Andy, our tour manager and guide. His humour, Tai Chi and cooking skills and overall demeanor+ the ship's professional crew made the trip a magnificent experience. Food, boarding, lodging activities were of the finest quality. We definitely recommend Le Journey luxury as the most preferred choice
