We will meet at our meeting point, to start this culinary adventure in the bohemian district of Barranco. We will walk around this neighborhood, starting with the panoramic visit at the Mirador Sáenz Peña. We will continue the tour to taste an exquisite Peruvian coffee, and try two types of traditional empanadas. Then, we will visit a gastronomic store with 100% Peruvian products, made by small sustainable and environmentally responsible companies. In addition, we will taste the sweet favorites of many: chocolate. The next stop will be in the mini art gallery of the amazing Peruvian artist Jade Rivera. Afterwards, we will take a panoramic tour of the Bridge of Sighs, and of the descent of baths. The next visit will be to a local restaurant, where we can try the famous “Ceviche” and the “Causa Limeña”. We will have a refreshing “purple chicha”. Marcos was a wonderful guide! He took us to authentic places that highlighted the tastes and culture of Lima. He was fun and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious! He was also very attentive to our dietary restriction (no alcohol) and made sure we had a nice substitute. Definitely recommend this food tour!
