Experience an unforgettable day in Sintra and Cascais without driving. We will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or cruise terminal, and our local guide will show you every special corner along the way.
The first stop is the magnificent Pena Palace with entry ticket included and guided tour through its colorful terraces and fairy-tale views.
Then enjoy free time in Sintra’s historic center. Taste traditional pastries for lunch, walk through its centuries-old streets, absorb the romantic atmosphere, and discover hidden corners filled with the aroma of fresh sweets.
Next, we head to Cabo da Roca, where the westernmost cliffs of Europe meet the power of the Atlantic. The scenic coastal drive continues to Cascais where you will visit the Boca do Inferno, admire golden beaches, and enjoy the relaxed seaside atmosphere to end your day.

SHARED OPTION: Includes tickets and a guided visit to the Pena Palace only. We will also make a 15-minute stop for photos outside the enigmatic Quinta da Regaleira (interior visit not included in this version).
Child and baby seats are mandatory for children aged 0 to 11. These are available upon request if the child’s age is provided at the time of booking.

5.00I booked a private tour for my husband and I in Lisbon, and it was definitely worth it! It was just the tour guide (Gabriel) and us, and we could go at our own pace and ask as many questions (or not) that we wanted. He was informative and friendly. We didn’t feel rushed and would highly recommend this method to become familiar with the various surrounding cities. The pick up and drop off at our hotel was super appreciated especially after being tired from traveling.

5.00Rodrigo was the absolute best part of our trip to Portugal. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly for the entirety of our tour. We were able to see and experience amazing parts of Portugal we would’ve never had the chance to embrace without his help. He was consistent in making sure every member on the tour was comfortable and enjoyed each part without feeling rushed. With the experience alone my group and I have decided to come back to Portugal another season to experience more tours preferably with Rodrigo and Ó Turista!

5.00Rodrigo was amazing, funny, relatable and informative, he made my group feel at home even though we were tourists. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to do this tour. He took us to multiple cites and cities some even out of the way of the tour that were beautiful and i’m so glad we booked through this company and had SUPER glad Rodrigo as our guide.

5.00Thanks to our guide, Rodrigo, for making the most out of the hours that we had to show us the best of Sintra and more! We wouldn’t have been able to do it on our own and as efficiently. Booking and meet-up instructions were clear and easy. Rodrigo arrived on time and his driving was excellent. His tour was perfectly paced (for 5 able-bodied adults), which he would’ve adjusted if needed as he always checked how we were all doing. He also connected with our 3 grown sons and we all agree that it was he who made our tour more special. We look forward to another visit to Lisbon and see other sites with Rodrigo and Ó Turista! next time.

5.00We went on this day tour with Rodrigo who was a very safe driver, knowledgeable, and took care to assist me due to recent knee replacement surgery. The portion of the tour that is the Pina Palace does involve a great many stairs and steep inclines, however, and is difficult to access if you have mobility issues. I recommend taking the transit bus from the check in area for the extra 4.5 Eu. Also bring rain gear since it often rains on the Sintra mountain and part of the Palace tour is outside. The remainder of the tour after the Palace was much more manageable for me. We had a delicious lunch and made a stop for pastries, as well. I recommend the tour with Rodrigo.

5.00We did the half-day tour to Sintra, and our guide was Rodrigo. He was absolutely fantastic. This tour truly proves that it’s all about your guide. My mom was in a wheelchair, and Rodrigo went above and beyond to accommodate her, even offering to help push her over the cobblestones. Who does that? Someone who is genuinely kind and of great character. Rodrigo was a wealth of knowledge, sharing history in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. His lunch recommendation was perfect as well. Yes, the tour of Pena Palace was amazing, but what truly made the experience special was Rodrigo. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Sheryl
