Our small-group departs from Lisbon on a wonderful tour experience, to visit Pena Palace Park, Sintra beautiful medieval streets, views of Cape Roca, and then finally amazing Cascais coast.
Explore the streets, taste local pastries, take pictures. Learn about our history, life in Portugal and our food - our experienced guides are local, and will answer everything you want to know, with a good balance between guided tour and free family time.

Park and National Palace of Pena
Guided visit to the Pena Palace and grounds (select ticket option ). The Pena Palace is one of the best representations of 19th century Romanticism in Europe. Being the second-highest point in the Serra de Sintra (over 500m above sea level), it will amaze you with its unique architecture and spectacular views. King Ferdinand II - the king-artist - fell in love with Sintra, and following the purchase of the property, decided to build a unique castle and park, with 500 plant species from all corners of the world. The palace incorporates Manueline and Moorish architectural influences, that together will give you an atmosphere of “a thousand and one nights.”. An unforgettable experience.
Centro Historico de Sintra
In the center of Sintra you can either stay in the village, view the National Palace or walk to visit Regaleira (tickets not included). Also, a great option is to stay, and enjoy the wonders of this beautiful medieval little town, walking the narrow streets, feel the local atmosphere and then grab a coffee and try local pastry "Travesseiro".

5.00A very interesting day visiting beautiful places. Our guide, Filipe, was great, communicated in advance to send updates, met us perfectly on time, and was very knowledgeable of the history and details of the places we visited, while being entertaining and very nice. Definitely a worth tour!

5.00Filipe did a real good job, giving excellent explanation about all sites we visited on the trip. Despite a rainy start of the day, we enjoyed our trip big time. Make sure to buy Quinta da Regaleira tix in advance in busy season for 11:30 slot ( not included in the tour price) and take uber there if you mind up the hill walk - the place is really worth it, especially Well of Initiation!

5.00This was such a wonderful and comprehensive trip! My friend and I loved the smaller group setting—being able to ask our guide Filipe questions 1/1 was so nice, and the other members in our group were so laid back and fun to talk to! We made good time to all of our destinations, and Filipe gave us some great suggestions for local restaurants and bakeries. The castle tour was also lovely, even though it was a bit misty that day.

5.00My mom and I did a day trip to Sintra with Filipe our guide and it was amazing. He has great knowledge of Pena Palace. Filipe is professional and very knowledgeable and made our experience a very positive one. Great recommendations when we stopped in the village for lunch and was overall a great day trip. The trip was well planned and gave you time as well to do some self exploration as well. I would book this tour with Filipe without hesitation. Thank you!

5.00Outstanding! Sintra, the Pena Palace and Cascais were all beautiful places to visit. We were lucky to have had a beautiful and clear day on Jan 5 to be able to enjoy these magnificent places near Lisbon Our guide Pedro was wonderful and very knowledgeable of Portuguese history.

5.00Pedro was a great guide, very informative. it was boring and raining very heavily and I was thinking of canceling but bedroom commits me that it was going to be fun and to still come out with my family. I'm glad we did. Pena palace was magical in the fog and Pedro was a great guide with informative historical facts and trivia and also a nice sense of humor. the Palace of magical in the fog and eventually it actually started lifting and we enjoyed ourselves going to Cascais . Would highly recommend.

5.00It was a trip well worth it taking- seeing the Pena Palace, the countryside and the coast. Truly an amazing day. The small group was wonderful and our Guide Filipe was a fountain of information. We learned so much about the history of the country and everything we needed to know about the places we visited. We really can’t say enough about Filipe- he also had fantastic restaurant recommendations! All around perfect day! Thanks Philippe!!!
