Lower Antelope Canyon

Visitors begin their guided Lower Antelope Canyon tour with a short 10-minute walk from the check-in booth to the entrance of of the canyon. The trail leading to the entrance of Lower Antelope Canyon is composed of Navajo sandstone making the decent to the canyon entrance both rocky and sandy, for our guests’ safety and comfort we advise appropriate shoes be worn. As you begin your 1 – 1.5-hour adventure (all-walking) with Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, your experience will span roughly 1,800 meters (1.1 miles) round trip. Upon descending down five flights of stairs (35 meters) into the largest cavern of the tour, guests’ will begin their majestic ascent through the kaleidoscope of colors naturally provided by the unique creation of Navajo Sandstone, as a result of rain, wind, and erosion. The numerous echelons throughout the canyon consist of eight uniquely built ladders (with handrails) for safety.

We went through the tour with Tracy, she took really nice pictures and her explanation of the history was awesome. Would recommend the tour to everyone.
Early morning tour group with fair weather. The canyons were lit nicely for viewing in a cloudy day.

Tracy is a great musician. Creative and patient. The tour is a great destination spot for exploring the 4 corners. Hidden in plane sight.

Tracy was amazing. What a gem of a person!!!! She was so educational, perfect for kiddos. She started with the most amazing demonstration of how the canyon had formed. Then consistently got more and more interesting with fun facts, great cultural histories of the area, the Navajo nation, and the canyon. This tour is not to be missed! And if you can request Tracy, I would Highly recommend! She also teaches you great photo tips to get the best pictures, and offers to take family photos. 😍

Carmelita was amazing an amazing tour guide, she helped with explaining everything, including its history and using her imagination to point out different animals ands figures in the rock formations.

I was looking forward to Antelope Canyon for so long and it was more beautiful than I’d expected. Our photos, without filters, are gorgeous and our guide, Jose, was the perfect guide; friendly, knowledgeable and made it a fun experience.

The lower antelope is a great experience and is mesmerising in its own way. The tour guide however was a bit of a disappointment in sharing info about the place and managing his troop.
The experience was amazing, the guide was cool, everything to make a great day!

We took the morning slot for Lower Antelope around 9:30 AM. It was tmjsut me and my better half under the guidance of Trey. He was soo cool and fun to hang out with. He walked us through how the history of Antelope and Navajo as well how they function independently. It is a must. We hope to be there soon again.
