The Kelpies & The Helix
The Kelpies: The largest equine sculptures in the world. Standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tonnes each, the magical Kelpies are a man-made wonder and a feat of engineering. The works of art, created by artist Andy Scott, have become iconic on the landscape after being modelled on real-life icons of times gone by — Clydesdale horses Duke and Baron. The Kelpies represent the lineage of the heavy horse of Scottish industry and economy, pulling the wagons, ploughs, barges and coalships that shaped the geographical layout of Falkirk. The Kelpies’ name reflects the mythological transforming beasts that possess the strength and endurance of 100 horses.

5.00We had a truly unique experience that surpassed our expectations ! Nathan was an amazing guide who totally morphed to make this a unique experience, not only for the adults but also for the two and four-year-old on our family tour. He made our trip magical for both adults and kiddos! The kids so warmed up to him and we all had such a great time. We would do it again tomorrow!

5.00What an amazing day with our wonderdul guide Donald. Despite the weather we spent the day exploring the highlights and countryside of beautiful Scotland. Donald kept us engaged and knew exactly where to stop and help us beat any crowds and get the best experience. The ride was comfortable and by the end of the day Donald was like an old friend. I highly recommend booking this trip and if you are lucky enough to have Donald as your guide get ready for one amazing day!
