The Kelpies & The Helix
The Kelpies: The largest equine sculptures in the world. Standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tonnes each, the magical Kelpies are a man-made wonder and a feat of engineering. The works of art, created by artist Andy Scott, have become iconic on the landscape after being modelled on real-life icons of times gone by — Clydesdale horses Duke and Baron. The Kelpies represent the lineage of the heavy horse of Scottish industry and economy, pulling the wagons, ploughs, barges and coalships that shaped the geographical layout of Falkirk. The Kelpies’ name reflects the mythological transforming beasts that possess the strength and endurance of 100 horses.

5.00Amazing tour! Andy was the best tour guide! Andy is engaging, knowledgeable and flexible. We asked for some modifications to the tour and he was not only accommodating, his suggestions were excellent! Andy added great historical perspective to all of our sites and brought awesome detail to our tour. With a couple of history buffs on the tour, it was just what the doctor ordered. Would highly recommend!

5.00Our guide Andy was very knowledgeable about Scotland past and present. He made helpful suggestions so we had a great experience seeing the beautiful Scottish landscape, as well as built highlights. He was friendly and generous with his time and expertise. He was professional in ensuring we had a smooth day out and played the role of official photographer well. This was a fantastic way to see Scotland, we would highly recommend this.

5.00We had a fantastic time! Andy asked us at the beginning what we really wanted to see and do. We talked it through and he made a plan. He is one of the best Guides that we have had! He was so personable and very knowledgeable of all the sites and areas. By the end of the tour it was like hanging out with family. Highly recommend! Thank you Andy!

5.00The highland loch ness trip was amazing from start to finish.The scenery along the road is spectacular, every stop offering something unique and breathtaking. We covered so many places with in a day. Lunch at Clachaig inn bar was marvellous. The MPV was comfortable and our guide, Donald, was exceptional. He is highly experienced, knowledgeable about all the places and very engaging. His insights added much depth to the places we visited, making the entire experience more memorable. A truly outstanding tour. Highly recommended especially for those who appreciate countryside scenery and nature.

5.00We had the best day touring the Highlands and learning about the history of Scotland. Our guide, Nathan was fantastic. We were a bit reticent to take this tour because we have a two and a four-year-old in tow but Nathan was great with the kids and found a great balance between ride times and letting the kids explore. They especially loved the cows! We would do this again in a heartbeat.

Nathan was an amazing guide who totally morphed to make this a unique experience, not only for the adults but also for the two and four-year-old on our family tour. He made our trip magical for both adults and kiddos! The kids so warmed up to him and we all had such a great time. We would do it again tomorrow!

5.00What an amazing day with our wonderdul guide Donald. Despite the weather we spent the day exploring the highlights and countryside of beautiful Scotland. Donald kept us engaged and knew exactly where to stop and help us beat any crowds and get the best experience. The ride was comfortable and by the end of the day Donald was like an old friend. I highly recommend booking this trip and if you are lucky enough to have Donald as your guide get ready for one amazing day!

Our itinerary was full of history, castles, amazing hikes, The Braemer Gathering, sheep dog demonstrations and so much more with fun and laughter all the way!
