I joined this trip over the summer and I apprecciated every moment. We were a small group, we had high quality food, great guide, confortable equipment, and a nice mix of kayaing and trekking. The Fjord is a little paradise, with seals, high cliffs and waterfalls. And of course a lot of very, very cold seawater!

This is one of the most unexpected and brilliant things to do. Seeing the beautiful countryside from a kayak is wonderful. The food and accommodation were great - but if you want the best experience ask for Tuure as your guide and instructor … he is excellent. It’s the perfect balance between tough mental challenges and physical ones. My heart and brain are full and my muscles are aching but stronger.

We had an unforgettable experience with Nordic Paddling! Our guide, Sandra, was absolutely fantastic—her deep passion for nature was infectious, and she had a beautiful way of connecting with everyone in the group. She not only educated us about the surroundings but also entertained us with peaceful tunes by the fjord that truly elevated the whole experience. The group atmosphere was filled with laughter, fun, and relaxation, all while soaking in the breathtaking beauty of nature. A perfect balance of adventure and serenity. Highly recommend this tour—and if you're lucky enough to have Sandra as your guide, you're in for something special! Some notes improvements. It would be good for Nordic Paddling to have separate packing list recommendations for camping vs. cabin experience. Also consistency required in which part of the airport pick up will take place. We received email instruction that pick up would be at departure exit but the FAQs mentioned pick up will be near the Hertz. We ended up being picked up near the Hertz.

I can’t recommend this enough. We had Anna as our guide and her knowledge on foraging and the nature and history of the fjords just added to the beautiful scenery and the whole experience. The food was so good, I really loved eating with everyone around the campsite. Even the toilets in the woods were a much better experience than other camping trips I’ve done. I always felt safe and cared for, I’ve already recommended this trip to all my friends. It was a beautiful wonderful experience, Norway will always have a special place in my heart now. It was also a really great way of travelling solo but meeting some super fun and interesting people. I also found it really accessible, you don’t have to be super fit to do it, some parts can be challenging - like the hike to pulpit rock, but with the support of the group and Anna I made it! Kayaking is also a really wonderful way to see the fjords, I felt so close to nature.

We had 4 days in the Norwegian Fjords, looked after by Tuure who guided us through the fjord and up to Pulpit Rock. We were blessed with great weather which really added to the experience. The fjords are stunning and seeing them from the water is an amazing experience. I got the chance to fish as well, which was awesome. The trip is extremely well organised and everyone we met from Nordic Paddling was super friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and very tasty and the camp, although very basic, is in a stunning location that you just would not have access to otherwise. The equipment is excellent, but be aware that you may have some extra costs for dry bags and sleeping bags which are essential. I would highly recommend this bucket list trip for the adventurous who want to experience the wild Norway in a safe and secure way.

This was one of the best solo trips I took - Sandra was a great guide & cook :), the rest of the team jumped in when more help was needed, equipment provided was a bonus, cabin and camping site with great locations. There was also the benefit of an amazing group of people to make the experience memorable. All in all, amazing 4 days in nature!

This tour was amazing. We had Sebastian we our gracious guide and host for this tour. Sebastian was very helpful and had great conversation/stories to tell. The experience itself is breathtaking and the fjord water was very calm for a relaxing pace kayak adventure.

This was an incredible weekend trip along the lysefjord, and a 7k hike up to pulpit rock with great company. Though the weather was at times on the wetter side, our tour guides Camilla and Ture worked around this at every moment whilst being really well trained, helpful, and providing delicious food. Ture was great at introducing kayaking skills, along with kayak races, and even an afternoon/evening yoga session after the pulpit rock hike. Camilla was a brilliant leader, with an array of geological, historical, and local knowledge of the area. We started the hike up to pulpit rock early to get there before other tourists. Following the hike up to pulpit rock, we went for a further scramble (hiking on rocks), which led to even greater views of pulpit rock and the fjord backdrop. Following this, I ended up in risky situation from my own doing, in which both tour guides reacted quickly and ensured I was safe and well recovered. On the 4th and final day, we kayaked to the bottom of pulpit rock, where we were shown an alternative path up to pulpit rock (via kayak) and a secret cave. I would recommend this trip to any Friends or family. Thank you.

Kayaking 4h with Nordic Paddling with Sandra Some explanations on the parking then we equipped ourselves in waterproof suits. We then started kayaking (two-seater) after explanations on handling. A beautiful walk on both banks of the Fjord, getting as close as possible to the banks so you can look at curiosities with the Guide's comments. Kayaking is one of the best ways to enjoy the fjord and feel closer to the water. Trip Tip: provide a cap and water as well as warm but light clothing

Before I booked the trip I read the reviews, and still they couldn’t prepare me for this up-close, intimate experience with the beauty of the Lysefjord. We knew we wanted to appreciate the amazing fjords not just by seeing them on a ship, but also to hike with our feet, and to drift on its crystal clear water. This certainly surpassed my expectations! Our guide Ana was amazing. Pleasant, knowledgeable and did everything to make sure we enjoy the kayaking safely. The views were stunning and tranquil. Ana pointed out a happy seal swimming and flipping to us. And later probably the same seal was basking on a rock . We were able to just watch him quietly, floating at a close but not too close distance from this seal. Amazing! This meeting place was 45 minutes drive from Stavanger. The last stretch was a single lane road with two way traffic. There wasn’t a lot of traffic. We did need to back our car 10 yards into a road side space to allow the incoming cars to go first. So drive slowing and pay attention to those bypassing spaces just in case you need to. We did the morning 3 hour trip. And after that, we drove 25 minutes over to the pulpit rock, and hiked it within 5 hours. All in all, very special!!!
