Join us on an unforgettable evening adventure to witness one of Madeira’s most breathtaking Sunset from the heights of Pico do Arieiro.

We’ll start by picking you up from your accommodation in Funchal, Caniço or Câmara de Lobos (city center)

Then, we continue the journey to the majestic Pico do Arieiro, Madeira’s third-highest peak. Here, you’ll experience part of the famous PR1 trail,(Self-Guided) walking approximately 1.2 km each way (1h30m), leading you to the incredible Ninho da Manta Viewpoint and the renowned “Stairway to Heaven”.

As the day ends, prepare to be amazed by the colors of the sunset painting the sky and mountains in golden tones. After soaking in this magical moment for about 30 minutes, we’ll comfortably return you to the nearest point of your accommodation.

An evening you will never forget – join us for this unique sunset experience!

Fantastic tour. Our guide Luís gave loads of tips for Madeira and checked the weather before we left to ensure we would be able to see the sunset. The stairway to heaven was an easy walk and beautiful views all the way. Highly reccommend!

Absolutely incredible. Highly recommend. Not for the faint of heart but definitely worth doing. The driver Luís, really friendly and informative made our last day incredible (ask him for food recommendations 😋)

Amazing experience, beautiful nature and breathtaking scenery with magical sunset. Luis was very friendly,funny and gave us a lot of recommendations of the restaurants etc. We had a free time to hike to 'stairs of heaven' and enjoy a sunset, full of flexibility .The whole journey was very smooth and super easy communication trough what's up for the pick up time. I would definitely choose this tour again ,also it's much cheaper than other tours .Obrigado Luis!

The weather was too cloudy to view the sunset from pico do areiro so an alternative location was recommended which offered beautiful views. The driver Luis was very accommodating to make sure I got access to great photo opportunities. Overall a great experience!

Very nice everything, we were able to arrive by sunset and see it despite the fog, which still created a unique and beautiful atmosphere. He accompanied us to the parking lot and left time to get there independently to the point where it was allowed (unfortunately a part of the road is closed). The journey did not take long but the experience was beautiful and we thank the driver for the sympathy and chatter during the trip. Recommended

Booked very last minute and was an amazing experience. Luis got us there in plenty of time for a hike and to see the sunset. Let us stay as long as we liked after sunset to see all the beautiful colours. Excellent tour guide as well with lots of recommendations for other activities and restaurants etc.
