    I booked this Madrid Tapas & Wine Tour at the very last minute after a flight cancellation, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of my trip. Everything was exactly as advertised—smooth check-in, easy communication, and no issues at all despite the short notice. Our guide was fantastic. I wish I remembered his name (my memory is the problem, not his service!), because he truly made the experience special. Our group started off a bit quiet, but he worked his magic and had everyone engaged, laughing, and enjoying each stop. You could tell he was well-known and appreciated by the local restaurants, which made the whole experience feel authentic and connected. Every restaurant was absolutely amazing—small, family-owned spots with incredible recipes, thoughtful wine pairings, and that unmistakable local charm you just can’t fake. And to top it off, when the guide found out it was my birthday, he and the group sang to me at the final restaurant. Such a memorable, thoughtful moment. Highly recommend this tour if you want great food, great wine, and a guide who genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable evening.

    My daughter and I took this tour the first night of our arrival and had a wonderful food and wine tasting experience with our guide, Osmel. He took the group to four different Tapas Restaurants we we sampled from one to four Tapas dishes that represented a typical dish of the region paired with a good portion of wine that complemented the dish(es). Alternative beverages were available if wine was not a drink of choice. Osmel was very good explaining each dish and its significance as well as the wine producing region in Spain where the wine came from. I left the experience with a greater appreciation of Spanish wines and names of some new favorites to look for. The food samplings would not constitute a full meal, but a couple of bites, enough to sample, but felt full enough after the tour.

    Very enjoyable tour. Carmen was an excellent guide. The gambas and basque cheese cake were the food highlights. The red wine selections were superb and a lovely cava to finish. We would highly recommend this tour
