  The weather was against us because of Cyclone Ditwah but Dinesh took us out nonetheless and we had a wonderful time. Despite the wind and rain it was really peaceful and you couldn't see any other people for miles around. We saw some eagles flying and absolutely loved paddling through the mangroves, it was really special. Dinesh provided some delicious vegan food for us which we really appreciated. Dinesh is a really friendly and knowledgeable guy and made the experience really special. He collected us and dropped us off at our hotel in Bentota. Communication was good as he got in touch the day before to confirm everything. I'd say this isn't for beginner paddlers, you need to have a little bit of experience already if you want to get the most out of it. And bring a change of clothes!   What an amazing experience and fantastic guide Dinesh. I was a little apprehensive as I was a solo traveller, but Dinesh picked me up from my hotel on time with good what’s app communication the day before and on the day to check I was up on time. He was such an interesting chap, we chatted all the way there in our short 20 min car ride to the river. There we met 4 other guests who had booked on and after a short instruction on how to kayak and safety we set off. It’s fair to say that you are kayaking for approx 2.5 hrs, but lots of opportunity to take it easy, glide, take photos as he shows us some points of interest and as a mixed ability group he catered for all. Kayaking through sections of the narrow mangroves was truly other worldy and you got such a sense of it all, so glad I didn’t opt to take a river cruise. We stopped for a break half way, with water, cheese, crackers and water melon. All round great trip and well worth the early start!

  It was a real good experience over all. Friendly host and everything was well organised: from organising a pickup date via whatsapp to getting an instruction bevor getting into the kajak. The tour itself is beautiful! We would do it again!

  The excursion was well organized from the beginning till the end! We were picked up on time in our accommodation. The kayaks were well maintained and the guides very friendly and helpful. We could enjoy the nature and take many beautiful impressions! The small, delicious snacks on the way were great! Thank you very much for the great day!
