2.00This is a bit of a scam. Was supposed to be a two hour street food tour, but was only an hour and one place. Hardly a tour. JJ, the guide, was OK but preoccupied with his phone and his next appointment - a pub crawl that started an hour before my food tour finished. Admittedly, he invited me on the pub crawl, but that’s not my jam. I was hoping to safely see a few interesting places around Makati. Bit disappointing.

5.00Mari is an excellent tour guide with expansive knowledge about national food and history. She is incredibly energetic and gave us a good insight into life in the Philippines. I enjoyed trying different dishes and walking through areas of Makati I had never seen before. Highly recommended.

5.00Mari was a wonderful guide! Warm, friendly and always quick with fun informative facts 🥰 She’s a big foodie and took us to eat delicious Filipino food that we continue to crave, like Bulalo and Bulo Pie 😋🤤 It was an enjoyable experience trying out the unique dishes that I would never have back in Singapore such as Balut, Grilled Pig’s Blood and Chicken Intestines. Highly highly recommend booking with her, especially if you’re looking for more than a tour guide - you’ll feel like long-time friends after!

5.00I really enjoyed this street food tour. The guide, Mari, took us round a number of street food vendors in the streets of Makati. We tried a variety of local foods. It was a great experience and a lot of fun. I cannot recommend the tour highly enough.

5.00Mari is such a lovely and knowledgeable tour guide. Our family of four had so much fun on this tour. Mari gave us details about what we were eating and encouraged us to give everything a go. You get heaps of food on this tour so come hungry. She also comes highly prepared with water, hand sanitiser and wet wipes to clean your hands. We highly recommend Mari.

5.00If like me you've passed many street food stalls and been tempted to sample things, but never quite sure what to ask for or what it is you might be eating, then this tour is perfect for you! I had such a wonderful time on the street food tour with Mari. She is such a caring and friendly person, who is passionate about her city and country. I thoroughly enjoyed her conversation and enthusiasm, which made this tour so special. We sampled several different types of local food with a variety of flavours, had a local drink, and finished with a delicious refreshing dessert called Halo Halo! I would highly recommend you book this street food tour, or any of the others Mari offers as she is such a wonderful host.
