Don’t miss the opportunity to take part of the Malbec Experience in Tierras Altas! This winery is located in Luján de Cuyo, a few kilometers away from Mendoza City. Being one of Mendoza's first boutique wineries, built in 1999, Tierras Altas has a capacity of 250,000lts entirely in stainless steel tanks and high-tech machinery to provide grapes with adequate care or treatment. We also have a unique underground cellar, where the aging in oak barrels and subsequent stowage in bottles takes place.

Bodega Tierras Altas

Upon arrival in Tierras Altas enjoy the guided tour of the winery. Then, with a glass in your hand, you will begin the tour through the vineyards that are next to the winery. You will learn about the different types of vineyards that exist, how the grapes are harvested, the different types of soils in the province of Mendoza and its influence on grapes and wine, among other interesting explanations. The visit continues with a tour of the Tierras Altas steel tank room, where you will receive a full explanation of the grape's fermentation processes and the different jobs carried out in this area. Here you will be able to taste different types of wines directly from the steel tanks. Next stop is the underground cellar of the winery where you will see the oak barrels, stowed bottles and a large table in its center where we you will do the wine tasting, including a tasting directly from the barrel!

Very good experience! We were a group of 6 people, with basic knowledge of wine, and who received us (sorry I forgot the name!) had a lot of patience with us, was very friendly and we learned a lot! And obvious the very rich wine.

We arrived without reservation and quite early, we were welcomed by Flavia who, without being touristic; welcomed us with a warm smile; told us the options we had available, told us about the wines, etc. Then the Antonella guide arrived and continued with the activity, also with great sympathy and cordiality. Finally we had the privilege of going to the cellar and the cava (very beautiful) with the winemaker Federico. I strongly recommend enjoying the Highland experience, whether for visiting and tasting or lunch. Thanks to all the team, some geniuses!
The food is impeccable, tasty and abundant, the wines excellent.

Thank you for this wonderful experience. Cecilia is a master of her craft; she told us not only about the history of the winery and its founders, but also about how to taste wines correctly, its varieties in Mendoza and its methods of preparation. Cecilia is open and knows how to talk about wine with such enthusiasm that it is impossible to deviate. Everything was organized, on time and with great enthusiasm. This was the first taste experience in Argentina and one of the best. Thank you Cecilia and Bodega Highlands! We'll definitely be back!

Antonela was very professional, she explained very interesting technical things about wine production. He guided us in the tasting and we tried so many wines. When we arrived, as it was early we were also offered a glass of white while waiting, we greatly appreciated.

Excellent service. The Malbec experience was great (special thanks to Antonella..who has a lot of knowledge and is super friendly). The snack was excellent. It was a very pleasant afternoon. We recommend.
