Registered for PreViaje. This excursion is suitable for people with no riding experience and also more accomplished riders who can canter through the vines. Most horseback excursions in Mendoza are a rustic experience in the mountains at least 90 minutes from the city. We do this is through a vineyard 30 minutes from the city and the lunch is a sumptous gourmet feast with high quality wine pairings. The horseback ride is 90 minutes in duration through the vineyards of Southern Maipu, followed by a gourmet lunch at Divina Marga restaurant and wine cellar. We begin the excursion at a stables in Lunlunta and take a route through vineyards, leafy country lanes and the dry river bed of the Rio Mendoza. We then sit down to a gourmet asado (Argentine bbq) which involves multiple courses meal and wines in the beautiful setting of a country mansion.

Pick up is at 11am at your hotel/hostel in Mendoza City or environs. We drive for 45 minutes to a stables in Lunlunta, Southern Maipu. At 12 midday we begin a 90-minute ride through the surrounding area, which includes vineyards, olive groves and the banks of the Rio Mendoza. At the end of the excursion we go to Terruño, a restaurant located in Club Tapiz, a winery and wine lodge. Here we enjoy a sumptuous multi-course lunch with wine pairings. At 4.30pm we return by car to Mendoza city which is one hour north, arriving at your hotel at 5.30pm. The excursion includes all transfers, the horseback riding excursion and lunch with wine.

5.00A really good day trip and a great way to see the country side around Mendoza. Our guide Ezekiel was very friendly, knowledgable and able to answer any questions. The horse riding through the mountains was amazing at the ranch staff were very friendly. Would recommend!

5.00I can not recommend this your company enough! We were picked up from the airport at 6:45am and then taken to do a city tour. After that we went horseback riding through the gorgeous countryside. We rode through streams with the mountains in the background. Riding was followed by the perfect lunch at a small vineyard. The attention to detail and flexibility this company offered us was like nothing I have experienced before. 10/10 would recommend.

5.00This was an amazing experience. Our guide, driver, and gaucho were all gracious and knowledgeable. The views were breathtaking. The lunch at the winery was amazing and the wine was so good, we bought some bottles to take home. Highly recommend!

5.00This was a great tour! Our tour guide Pablo was so friendly and knowledgeable about the region, and Christian was a safe driver. The horse riding was a lot of fun, even as a beginner, as Cesar calmed any nerves. The views were beautiful. Lunch at Club Tapiz was lovely. Trout and Wine tours were easy to deal with, and very flexible with pick up and drop off to my accommodation door in Chacras de Coria. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Went with my family (spouse + 13 year old daughter). We were picked up by Christian and our tour guide Pablo. Pablo was an excellent guide, who spoke perfect English. Once at the ranch, we were welcomed by Cesar who took us on a beautiful horseback ride around vineyards. Our daughter was scared to ride and Cesar worked his magic. Even though we were in a group, they took the time for my daughter to feel at ease. After the ride we went to the Tapiz winery, where we had a delicious lunch, a beautiful tour of the place and a very unique art exhibit of tapestries (perfect for Instagram pics) . Cannot say how much we loved the whole experience, we enjoyed wine pairing with each dish, and still managed to entertain a 13 year old! Thank you!!

5.00Ricci and our gaucho and driver were very very friendly and interested in us and took great care to ensure we enjoyed the day as much as possible. The horses are in superb condition. The meander through the countryside was very enjoyable. The gourmet meal was superb, both food and wine. Fantastic day out.

5.00We had a really nice guide named Ezekiel who made everything work. Riding horses was a fun alternative to cycling or walking in the heat. After riding we were treated to a delicious lunch at the winery! One of the best meals of our trip

5.00We had an amazing time on this tour. Ricky picked us up from our hostel, and straight away he was so welcoming and friendly, through the drive he took the time to tell us lots about Mendoza and Argentina as a whole. Once we got to the ranch we were paired with our horses and set off. The views were stunning, the guide gave us info on each part we went to and of course the horses were amazing. To top it all off the dinner and wine tasting were incredible. Even for us who aren’t normally wine drinkers we enjoyed every second and the food was also absolutely delicious. Can’t recommend enough.
