5.00I've done loads of walking tours but Gareth's was one of the most engaging and interesting ones I've done. His storytelling was genuine and informative - while talking about important but darker history he was extremely respectful. He was always happy to answer any questions and added humour where appropriate which made the tour even more enjoyable! I'd highly recommend this free walking tour of Manchester!

5.00Loved this tour! I live nearby, and go the Manchester for work, but felt like I didn't know that much about the centre. The guide is fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about all aspects. He made it really engaging and interesting. I particularly enjoyed how he maintained the narrative and how all the different points in Manchester's history fit together to create the bigger picture. Would really recommend to visitors and locals! Thanks

5.00There were about 12 people in our group. It was easy to find Gareth. We went round the central part of Manchester and Gareth was an excellent guide - knowledgable, witty and fun. He also gave several ideas of other places we could visit so it was a great orientation tour.

5.00Very educational tour about Manchester history. Since I’m writing this over a month after the tour I can’t remember the guides name but he was awesome! Incredibly knowledgeable about history and answered questions along the way even if outside scope of the tour. Highly recommend!

5.00A very nice guided tour for a first discovery of Manchester. Various subjects, anecdotes... the 2 hours pass quickly and Gareth speaks English very clearly, which is appreciable when you are foreign.
