Boat is open, inflatable raft type. But ride is literally 3 minutes so it's not too bad. The "light bar" is an oversized foam surf board with plastic tubing hand holds. You will be jostled by people from all sides and your arms and shoulders will be strained holding on unless you're young and fit. Don't chose this experience if you have neck, back, or shoulder issues. Pay more for the more for the less "bare bones" experience. The people were very nice and we saw tons of Mantas

This experience was awesome ❤️!!! Highly recommended!! Crew was very experienced & knowledgeable!!! Manta rays came very close upfront & personal.

My friend quit so I went by myself. Saw four manta. They swim So close! Like it! The tour guide said some knowledge about manta. It was cool

This was definitely an unforgettable experience. I thought my 6.5-year-old might not be able to stay in the sea water for more than 10 minutes, but it turned out he enjoyed himself so much that he was reluctant to get out of the water when the time was up. We saw half a dozen manta rays during this trip, and it was amazing to watch them swim by, almost making a belly-to-belly touch. Thanks to Shay, Bill, Michael (?), Jake (?) whose names I might have forgotten. They were all such nice people!
