Maras Moray and Chinchero tour is a fantastic half-day tour to explore and enjoy different landscapes around Cusco as you prepare for the long trip to Machu Picchu. We start visiting the Circular terraces at Moray, visit the picturesque town of Maras, count the thousands of salt pools at salinas, and visit Chinchero for a Textile demonstration and visit the Archeological site.

Moray

Pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive towards Chinchero, very popular for its local market, colonial church, and agricultural terraces. We will spend plenty of time in this place before we start driving along the mountains until Moray, famous because of the circular terraces where the Inca engineers used to adapt the product to different climates. Then Drive towards Maras Village and Salineras (Salt Flats), discover the history, process, and benefits of salt. Then, start the journey back to Cusco arriving around 13:30 pm back to your hotel. CHINCHERO; Located at 45 minutes’ drive from Cusco famous because it’s the local market, colonial church, and the farming terraces. MORAY, Located at 3,500 meters (11,500 ft.) compound by 4 circular terraces each of them has its own irrigation system. SALT MINES. Salineras have more than 3000 thousand pounds where locals harvest salt through the evaporation process.

Awesome tour! Adrian was amazing and gave us the history and the details of each area. Lunch was a buffet style and really delicious. The sights were amazing.

The tours with the company were excellent! The Guide Miguel has a lot of knowledge of the Sacred Valley region and explained everything to us very well. The visits with guides with so much knowledge make the trip much more interesting. We recommend the company and the Guide Miguel!

The tour guides (Pepe) and the driver were amazing hosts for our trip. They were both knowledge and very supportive (we had some challenges on the trip with altitude sickness). They took care of us and took us on an incredible tour!

Trexperience did a great job for me on my private driving tour of Sacred Valley! My guide Katia was on time and she really knew her Inca history! Katia explained so many things! We visited Piscay, Moray, and Ollantambo in a full day. Highly recommended to do this tour!

Interestingly beautiful trip! Mix of visiting inca sites as well as the salt mines. Our guide Charly was able to give a very detailed explanation about each site! Always in an engaging way. He knew the answer to every question. Everything was nicely arranged. Top trip!

Having an efficient and qualified guide makes all the difference for a great tour and a great experience. Edy gave us a fantastic experience! In addition to being a nice Cover, he taught us a lot about the Inca history. It was 2 days of learning and fun!! We had quadriciclo and picnic!!! It was amazing!! As always the chef Roland provided us with a wonderful lunch!! I thank excellent guide Edy, our guide Elvis and our cooks Roland and Rene!! Congratulations to everyone!! We love the experience with the team and the Enterprise!!

We, a group of 3 persons, had a very memorable trip to Cuzco with Elisban and Elvis for 4 days. They were very flexible to any last-minute changes due to, for instance, flight delay. Elisban, the tour guide, is also a good photographer and always spare us enough time to take photos by ourselves (we were a group of people that love to take photos). That being said, Elisban is also an eager timekeeper; he always reminded us when we were behind the schedule. All in all, he ensured that we could experience Cuzco to it's fullest. Elvis, the driver, was very helpful too.
Amazing! Would love to do it again, for sure!

You should try this tour! You will get all highlights of the Incas history and it was amazing! The TreExperience tour is one of the best tours to have the experience with. Not only the price is affordable yet you will get five stars service. The team is very helpful, and my tour guide, Elisban, was very nice and always know how to resolve all of the issues we have during the trip.
