Why return so early in the summer?

Not sure why a day trip would take the 3:45pm ferry on the return instead of the latest one in the summer?? The mini-van was less comfortable than a bus, but it did the job. Driver was friendly and reliable. More value if the return was in the evening vs afternoon.

Too much time on old uncomfortable buses and you cannot even see out the windows which are tinted, dirty, and small. Not enough time at the stops, 20 min is ridiculous and hours on buses, a waste of time and money!
Convenient way to see Martha's Vineyard, even for locals

The trip was fantastic, easy to follow, and New England Trips were great hosts and guides. Bring sunscreen, as there is not nearly enough shade on the island. Be prepared to walk, but there are also free buses that take you all over the island. Bring some cash since some stores are still cash only.

I had never been to MV and this was the perfect stress-free way of making the trip for the first time from Boston. Definitely ask for Johnny Boston to be your driver. He was hilarious and definitely made the hour + trip from Boston to the ferry fly by. Give that guy a raise!

John drove the coach to and from Boston to the port. He was absolutely hilarious and kept all of us entertained during a 3.5 hour round trip coach ride. Tom was our tour guide on Martha’s Vinyard. He was superb and his love for the island shone through
