The Memphis Riverboat is located at the bottom of a 35% incline covered with historic cobblestones. Due to the historic nature of the cobblestones, buses or vehicles are not allowed to drop passengers off directly at the boat dock; guests will be dropped off and picked up from Riverside Dr.

Within a few blocks there are four different parking garages, and several open-air parking lots. The closest garage to our location (just two blocks away) is at 149 Peabody Place between Second Street and BB King Blvd., next to the Hampton Inn. You can try your luck with on-street metered parking, too, on Second Street just south of Beale; on Beale between Front and Second; or along Peabody Place from Front to Fourth Street.

Very knowledgeable guide. I asked several questions and the guide was willing to delve deeper into the subject. I am a history buff and I loved it.

Shannon our tour guide is made for this job. She is super knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and inclusive. The BBQ was amazing and to top it all off the steamer boat along the Mississippi was wonderful.

This was a great day out and full of information on Memphis. Great food and the paddle steamer was a lovely way to end the day. Would definitely recommend this trip. I think the ladies name was Kate who was our tour guide.

This cruise and tour was one of the best I have taken so informative and the Civil Rights Museum is a must see and a need to see for myself personally when I have more time. This was a deep experience on my history as a black woman and it’s American history so important especially now more than ever. Excellent experience thank you Memphis!!😉
