This 4-hour, small-group tour with an experienced tour guide and a VIP limo mini bus will take you to Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meteora is one of the largest and most significant complexes of orthodox monasteries in Greece. You will have the opportunity to visit all six of the monasteries in this area, exploring the interior inside three of them.

Many centuries ago, on these gigantic rocks reaching heights of close to 2,000 feet, one of the most important monastic communities of Greece was formed. After you’ve picked up in the morning from your hotel in Kalabaka or Kastraki enjoy a comprehensive Meteora half-day tour for 4 hrs, seeing all the area of Meteora, all 6 Holy Monasteries with the chance to visit inside 3 of them.     This is a great way to get a sense of the various monasteries! It does move quickly, so if you have a couple of days, I would suggest getting an overview with this tour, then going back alone to your favorite site to spend more time if you can. I would to have loved to have more time at each of the monasteries!
