5.00It was a spontaneous decision and I’m so glad we took it. The music was so atmospheric and beautiful in such a lovely location and I’m glad it was traditions Norwegian hymns & lullabies - stunning - and unusual!

5.00This was an amazing experience in a beautiful setting. For the concert we attended it featured a lot of Norwegian folk music which was beautifully haunting. One of the best things we did in Tromso and worth staying up a bit later.

4.00We came for the Midnight Concert in Tromsø Cathedral. It started at 23:00 and lasted half and hour. It was very nice and enjoyable and cool to listen to some local songs. However, it felt a bit expensive for only half an hour. We booked the tickets the same day and it was not full, so probably buying last moment is fine. For sure a good opportunity to see the inside of the cathedral. It is quite nice.

5.00The whole concert lasted around 40-50 minutes. It didn't matter where you were sat - you were able to hear the beautiful music all around. The singing was lovely, and the instruments also had their time to shine. I especially enjoyed the folk songs.
You can't miss this.

5.00We attended the midnight concert at Tromsø's Yellow Church on the evening of February 3rd. It lasted "only" half an hour, and that was just enough for a special experience. It was wonderful that a piece we're familiar with, Amazing Grace, was sung at the end. Definitely recommended for a moment of relaxation.

5.00Concert was so emotionally moving it will stay in our memory forever. We felt we started to get to know Norwegian culture. We’re so glad we went on a stunning snowy night as it added to the magical experience.

5.00Lovely performances in a cosy cathedral (the heated pews were most welcome in the freezing weather!) The soprano was incredible. The performance was quite short but sweet, we finished at about 11.40pm. It was wonderful to hear the traditional folk music especially. There were signs to say no filming during the performance but this didn't stop people from having their phones up in the air recording, which was annoying when you're trying to watch the musicians.
