4.00Booked trip at 110 Beach St. Told bus was picking us up there and there was St Parking a few blocks down from pickup. Pickup went smoothly, tour and driver Greg were terrific. Got back in Queenstown 13.5 hours later and instead of dropping us off at pickup spot the driver dropped us off at their downtown location not where they picked us up and not where our car was. We were tired from a long day and it was quite a walk back to where our car was carrying bags and items we took on the trip. Exhausted we made it back to car. At NO time did SD say the drop off point would be different than the pickup point. If they would have told us that we would have made different arrangements. Break down on their part or driver Greg.

5.00It’s a beautiful trip. It’s a long day. I would do it again. I wish the bus would have had air conditioning, it was hot in the afternoon for the return trip.

5.00Super comfy bus. Multiple pickup spots can be arranged but the advantage of meeting at the Southern Discoveries office in downtown Queenstown is that you get first pick of seats. These seats will be yours for the next 12 hours through beautiful scenery, curvy roads, several stops and bathroom breaks.

5.00We really enjoyed this all day tour with Southern Discoveries tour company. Well organized and after stopping by their office in town, they gave us an upgrade and arranged for hotel taxi pickup on that morning. Tour guide Elle was very informative and could understand her easily (which isn’t always the case). Goppy our driver very skilled. The Milford Sound is a must do while in Queenstown.

5.00It’s not just about Milford Sound, which is awesome. The journey to the Sound is nearly as amazing. It may appear to be a long day but the breathtaking vistas and convenient stops made the day go fast. It’s clear Southern Discovery is the top tier tour provider in the area with an exceptional staff, very comfortable coaches, and spacious boats.
