Brew City Kayaks offers kayak rentals for people who want to explore the
Milwaukee River at their own pace.
Rent a Single Kayak for up to 4 hours for only $55! Along your paddle you will discover the beautiful City Skyline and have the opportunity to stop and get out of your kayak. Many kayakers enjoy stopping at one of the many local breweries or restaurants along the river. Our kayaks are sit-on-top style which are safer, easier to get in and out of, and perfect for holding a cooler. Life vests and instruction are provided.

• Arrive at Brew City Kayak (820 S. Water St.) Feel free to pull into the parking lot and park. Yes, we have FREE PARKING! • Head down to the "Paddle Shack" and check in with one of our helpful and friendly staff members. • Fill out Waiver, Get Fitted with Life Jacket, Look at Map of the River. • Quick Paddle Lesson. • Launch into River and head upriver into the lovely downtown Milwaukee, passing the Hoan Birdge, Bronze Fonz, and other City Highlights. • Feel free to take your time and enjoy the city, you don't have to be back for 4 hours. • Allow yourself 1.5 hour to get back to kayak launch when going all the way up river.

5.00The staff were polite and very friendly. They took their time to give us safety guidance and recommendations about where along the river we could stop to shop and sightsee around Milwaukee. Good fun.

5.00Excellent operation: knowledgeable staff and co-owners eager to share information with you, decent-quality kayaks at reasonable prices. Kayaking the Milwaukee River is an absolute blast. This should be part of any Milwaukee getaway!

5.00Everything was great! The equipment was great & the staff so nice! Bring lunch/snacks for there are not many accessible restaurants with a public dock. Lakefront Brewery is great, but 2 hours up river, however cool decks overlooking the river--worth the paddle up to it. (Need to update the information about what restaurants are available and if we can access the bar that has the drinking paddle boats.)

5.00We had so much fun kayaking the river and stopping for bites to eat and beers. Rye was super helpful getting us all setup and telling us the best places to go. Highly recommend!

5.00Jack was super helpful getting us out on the water quickly with great recommendations for our kayak. The kayaks were “sit on top” which made us feel more stable. The river was calm and a great way to get a view of the city.
