Every evening we use the latest weather update to choose the area around Tromso with best chances for clear skies.

At 7 pm, we pick you up outside main entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel and walk you 100 meters to our office where we show you the proper Aurora/night photography settings on your camera/mobile phone.

Then we give you warm overalls and boots, and drive you straight to the best spot. Some nights the Aurora is visible as soon as we arrive, while other evenings we relax with coffee and muffins while we wait for her.

Pick up time: 7 pm

Pick up place: Radisson Blu Hotel

Number of participants: 8 per minivan (up to 4 minivans on busy nights)

Duration: 6 hours

Level of difficulty: easy

Included: Photography tips, guide in English, Northern Lights Chase by minivan, warm overalls, boots, coffee,tea, muffins, pictures sent to your email.

Great experience seeing northern lights

We had a great time travelling around northern Norway, looking for the lights. We were lucky enough to see the aurora dancing above us and the beautiful clear sky full of stars. The journey was smooth and Andis made sure we were warm with the thermal suits. Snacks too, muffins, tea and coffee to keep warm after we’d seen the lights. Amazing photos for us to keep!

The excursion started with a short and informative briefing about what to expect in the next few hours, which was helpful for me to understand more about the northern lights. Snowsuits, coffee/tea and snacks were included in the package. We didn't use the suits but it did get very cold out there! Aron was patient and knowledgeable about the lights. Did an excellent job at taking photos and is a very good driver (I have motion sickness). 10/10 would recommend, a memorable experience for my husband and me :)

After being let down by another company we booked this last minute and were not disappointed! Only 4 of us in the van, and we drove most of the way to Finland to find clear skies and spend a couple of hours taking photos and watching the skies.

Had a great experience with Nico. Tour started with a quick technical brief before our group was split into various vans each independently charting their route according to the group's preference. Our van had 5 of us with our driver/guide Nico who was excellent in bringing us around. I would also like to commend his photographic awareness in helping the group get shots and being mindful of where our own cameras were pointing.

A brilliant night. We met and were taken to the office and given instructions. Everything was clear and the driver was really good in trying to find the lights. We had 2 really good sightings. Thank you

My aurora-hunting trip was absolutely spectacular from start to finish. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely committed to giving us the best possible chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Their expertise in reading weather patterns and choosing the perfect viewing locations made all the difference. Not only did we witness breathtaking aurora displays—dancing ribbons of green, purple, and pink across the sky—but the overall experience felt magical. The team provided warm gear, hot drinks, and fascinating explanations about the science and stories behind the aurora. I felt safe, comfortable, and completely immersed in the moment.

This was a great tour to 8 friends in a private minivan. Our guide Aaron was super nice, totally competent and despite bad weather conditions found great spots with clear skies and great auroras. Many thanks to Aaron for the warm and family care. The man is funny and swell.

The service was poor. The photo quality was low/bad. Perhaps because the company is small, the place wasn't clean either. The drinks and snacks were also subpar. The overall quality was bad considering the cost. The driver complained that they were tired from working late the previous day. We also moved late to important viewing spots, meaning we couldn't arrive on time and ended up taking aurora photos on a nearby road instead. It seemed to be because we waited for a long time at a bad spot while the other teams moved on.
