Mnemba Island, an island off the northeast coast of Zanzibar, is one of the best places in Zanzibar Islands to go snorkeling. This day trip is the easiest way to explore the underwater world of Zanzibar Island. The underwater world at Mnemba Island is unbelievably spectacular. There are countless colourful fishes and other sea creatures that survive among the coral reefs and underwater plants which together form the barrier reef ecosystem. Fishing activities are forbidden near Mnemba Island, which creates a paradise for a variety of sea creatures around the Island. You will be able to snorkel with colorful fish and other sea life, including Starfishes, Moorish Idols, Snappers, green turtles and so on. The experience may just surprise you. Shehe was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for! From day 1, he promptly picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel, immediately giving us context about Zanzibar. We stayed in Zanzibar for a week and for the entire duration of our time, Shehe was very hospitable, always punctual and extremely patient and caring. He made us feel very comfortable and always ensured our safety. At a point, I fell ill during the trip and Shehe rushed to my aid, offering to take me to the hospital. Sign up to Lakafi tours, I promise you won’t regret it.

Myself and my wife went to Zanzibar for our honeymoon. We spoke to quite a few tour guides online before deciding to use Lakafi Tours. From start to finish, Shehe and Isa made a huge positive impact on our entire trip to Zanzibar. They were both super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I never felt rushed and there was no rigidity. We were always given ample time to take in any of the experiences and we were comfortable enough to make changes to the itinerary as we saw fit. Great value for money compared to the rest of the tour guides we came across and we still keep in touch to this day. Could not recommend highly enough!
