Travelers come to the island of Mont Saint-Michel to visit the legendary medieval abbey. To get to it, you must pass through the surrounding walled town. Our audio guide will show you the way to the abbey and tell you about the island's history along the way. With the audio guide on your smartphone you will learn about sites including: Museums, Other churches, The cemetery, Lookouts, Legendary restaurants, Medieval fortifications on the island.
The audio commentary was written by a professional historian, lifting the veil of mystery over the creation and popularity of Mont Saint-Michel Abbey.
You won't get lost in the narrow streets, a handy offline map in the app will guide you. Walk at your own pace, without a tour group. The route passes by the abbey, and you can visit it on your own if you wish (visiting the abbey is not included in this tour). The walk ends at the castle wall, and from there you can go for a walk along the bottom of the bay or relax in the restaurant.

5.00The guide gave so much insight into the island’s history, legends, and hidden details I would have missed on my own. Walking through the narrow streets with the stories in my ears made everything feel alive — from the tiny shops to the ancient walls. The route doesn’t include the abbey, only the free public areas, but that worked perfectly since the abbey has its own audioguide anyway. I loved how easy it was to follow, with time to stop for photos and soak up the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

5.00Lovely site, stunning image, lots of history, good views. You go along a one-way route (?350 stair steps) up to the cathedral at the top, then down (past the human-powered wheel that lifted materials when MSM was a prison) through various chambers and out into the village. We got galettes (hearty pancakes) at one of the restaurants: not too long of a wait for a busy time of year! Don’t go in July or August if you have a choice.

1.00I would not recommend this tour. We were unable to download the audio guide and assistance from the provider proved useless. Furthermore, when I asked for a refund given the issues it was denied as there was no refunds. In short, I paid to be irritated and got nothing more.

1.00Côte stories nothing wrong but too general! Nothing about the rooms of the abbey or the architecture and as we advanced from the gd street it was too vague the explanations.

1.00It was not possible for me and my wife to access the guided audio tour We had in the message to leave from the tourist office of Mont Saint Michel but at the office they did not know how to help us. We tried to download all the possible applications, Viator, Tripadvisor (and it is not the first time we use applications of this type) but there was no way to be able to access this audioguided tour, at a very low price but in fact non-existent. On the other hand Mont Saint Michel is a small village obviously very interesting
