Mount Batur is one of Bali’s most active volcanoes, and trekking to the summit is a popular challenge for hikers. On this tour, rise early to undertake a thrilling moonlight climb, watch the sunrise from the top of the volcano, and then trek around the crater, enjoying stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

After an early-morning pickup from your Kuta, seminyak, canggu, nusadua,jimbaran or Ubud hotel, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the base of Mount Batur. On arrival, set out to climb the volcano by night, using flashlights to guide your way and admiring the scenery lit by moonlight. Arrive at the summit after hiking and climbing up to the highest viewpoint from which to watch the sunrise over Bali—a worthy reward for your efforts. As the sun comes up, tuck into a tasty breakfast on the mountaintop while you gaze out over the lava fields, rice terraces, and glittering lakes below. Continue your hike around the crater, before returning to the base camp. On the way back, stop to tour a traditional Balinese coffee plantation before being dropped back at your hotel.

This was the first tour we went to after arriving in Bali and had the best experience with exotic paradise. We went on a family trip with an elderly person and the tour went smoothly. We were assigned with a tour guide named Arno he was amazing. He was really helpful, he knew a lot and was patient with our family. If anyone comes to Bali with their family I highly recommend booking from the exotic paradise bali. They have amazing service at reasonable price!

Love to hiking to mount batur to see beautifull sunrise. Suitable for novice climbers, only takes 1 hour to peak and can see one of the best sunrise spots in the world. Thanks to Exotic Paradise Driver to make my vacation memorable.

Have a fantastic day on the sunrise hike with Arno as your guide! He is incredibly patient and is constantly on the lookout for our safety, offering his hands to guide us through challenging situations before we are even aware that we need assistance. It was well worth it to get up at one in the morning in order to hike up the mountain and watch the sunrise.

This is my first time engaging a private driver and I have to say Nanda, our driver is fantastic! We booked multiple tours including the waterfall, Uluwatu, Nusa Peninda, Ubud and Mt Batur. We had a great time with him and he took great care of us. There was this time when we were doing the Mt Batur hike and I was the only one out of my friends who wanted to do the climb (they offer motorbike as an alternative). Nanda was worried that it might be unsafe for me to go alone without my friends, and he decides to follow. Really appreciate that! 😬 He is also a great photographer, helping us to take the 0.5x shots! He even taught us how to take those photos👍🏻 Nanda is a great guide who is patient and reliable! We had lots of fun and this unexpected friendship with Nanda makes the trip a lot more memorable! Thanks Nanda, hope to see you again☺️

We did 2 day tours with Arno (Mundunk & Ubud incl. rice fields etc.) We were very satisfied, everything was implemented individually according to our wishes and this at a very fair price☺️
