Nizwa Fort Oman
We depart Muscat to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. Visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the for is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. This impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and seiges.
Nizwa Souq
Next to the fortress is the large Nizwa Souq, a local marketplace that offers a variety of goods including jewelry, pottery, fish, and meats. The list goes on!

5.00The experience was amazing. Our guide Ahmed told us a lot of interesting facts in our tour to Nizwa, Birkat Al Mouz and Jebel Akhdar. He was very friendly all the time and we had several nice conversations with him during our walks and time on the road. Thank you very much!

5.00Our trip to Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar was well timed and absolutely amazing. We explored everything and went to all the places in Nizwa and view points in Jebel Akhdar. Our guide, Mr Fawzi, is a very humble and helpful person. We totally enjoyed his company. Thanks to Oman sharing tours for organising this day tour.

5.00Nizwa fort and souk were good for pictures, shopping and getting to know about history and culture. The Jebel Akhdar mountains offer good viewpoints, fossil remains and an amazing village walk experience. Our guide, Fawzi made sure we had an adventurous experience! :)

5.00My guide Said Al Kiyumi is quite knowledgable about the culture and history of Nizwa and also provided great and patient guidance at Jebel Akhdar. That made the trip incredible! Also,he ensured to accommodate to ensure my travel needs are well met. Having a caring guide like Said is critical for all types of travelers even for solo travelers. Highly recommend!

5.00It was an amazing trip with badar as he was so polite and friendly with us . For the entire trip he made us enjoy our own music as well in the car and even played special birthday song for our friend . We were lucky to have him with us . Wish he would have taken for all days
