This unique private exclusive city tour will give guests a greater appreciation of the life, food, drinks, and culture of the Bahamas. The guest will be able to explore the rich history of the island of New Providence while traveling through some of Nassau's indigenous villages, such as "Fox Hill Village." Guests will be able to sample some of the island's unique foods and drinks as we visit the Bahamas Rum Cake Factory, The Chocolate Factory, the John Watling Distillery, The New Duff, and the popular Nassau Fish Fry at Arawak Cay.

Fort Montagu
Constructed in 1741 of local limestone, Fort Montagu is the oldest fort still standing on the island of New Providence. It is at the eastern end of Nassau Harbour along the waterfront.
Government House
Government House, located on a 10 acre estate, stands on Mount Fitzwilliam and is the official residence of the Governor General of The Bahamas. It dates back to 1801 and this imposing pink and white building on Duke Street is an excellent example of the mingling of Bahamian British and American Colonial architecture. The graceful columns and broad, circular driveway recall the styles of Virginia and the Carolinas. In front of the building is the statue of Christopher Columbus. This statue was imported from London in 1830 by Governor James Carmichael Smythe in honor of Columbus Landfall at San Salvador in 1492.

Fun Day in Nassau

5.00We had a fun day touring places in Nassau we hadn't seen before. We arrived by Cruise Ship and had a message from the tour operator that morning advising us of the exact pickup location (very close to port) and the Drivers Name and License Plate Number. We were the only 2 passengers this day, so had a private tour with our informative tour guide (Delano). He took us around various places in Nassau and we also had wine & chocolate tasting, fantastic conch fritters, and then a lunch with jerk chicken & rice. Plenty of food was provided and we wished we had eaten a smaller breakfast as we were full! Delano was a great tour guide and we enjoyed the tour. Take some small bills for tips at the fort and queen steps as we had a private presentation by an individual at each stop and wanted to give them a little extra as we were getting special attention at the stop!

5.00We signed up for this tour in Nassau to get an overview of the city, it's food, and it's culture. We received an indept experience with our guide Delano so that we felt like locals. We highly recommend this tour and Delano.

5.00Can't recommend this tour enough! Delano was an amazing guide and we had a great day touring the island. He was very knowledgeable and took us to so many different places to taste different local foods and drinks. It was more than we expected and a great way to experience Nassau!

5.00Delano was a fantastic guide. The food he showed us was so good! We had so many delicious tastings and he was full of history. My husband is absolutely hooked on conch fritters now. Lol. We got lucky and were the only ones on the tour so it felt very personalized. Highly recommend!
