This tour is your opportunity to really get to know the Osu Shopping District. And not the typical superficial visit everyone else does. Meet your guide at the popular Osu Kannon and start by recognizing the differences between a Shinto shrine and a Buddhist temple. Something many of you have probably wondered about. Start snacking on delicious Miso Kushi Katsu, skewered meat with a hearty red Miso sauce. Next, you will try another Miso snack, Gohei Mochi, grilled rice on a stick covered in Miso sauce. You will also try Karaage at one of the best shops selling the popular street food in Osu. Later, you’ll visit a popular local shop and try their Tenmusu. Street food can be found on every corner of Osu, sweet and savory, from ultra-cheap to luxury items. Your guide knows the best spots for each dish. At the end of this tour, your belly will be filled, and your mind will also be satisfied and appreciative of Osu, a district that has been through so much but has retained its popularity and charm. *Food items might differ slightly between tours

A must see in Nagoya. The shrine is beautiful. Great shopping if that’s your thing or street food that checks all the boxes while in this city. Make sure to bring your translator and enjoy all the people. Sometimes on sundays there is a flee market in the area of the shrine. Interesting Japanese antiques.

Patricia was our expert tour guide through the Osu neighborhood for delectable bites and delightful bits of history along the way. Nagoya does indeed have a reputation for being boring, but this tour was anything but boring.

Our guide Patricia was well versed in the history of the area we visited / an interesting mix of shops ( 2nd hand upmarket ) shrine temples and a burial site !! The food stops were delicious and possibly things that we may never have ordered … most enjoyable but fairly busy on a Saturday.

Ellie and Lena were exceptional guides. My daughter and I really enjoyed our experiences and the hands on opportunity we had making Nerikiri. I am already looking forward to more tours with them on my next visit to Japan. Susan Dinsmore

Not worth it. Just go to osu area and try whatever street food you find interesting. The tour charges you 14k yen per person and they’re going to food food worth 3k-4k yen per person. Nothing significant, interesting or special about the food. The guide kept on talking about nagoya’s history which really wasn’t interesting. Because if we wanted to learn about Nagoya’s history, we would have booked a historical tour. Don’t book this tour.

Lots of food, great time getting to explore and chatting with Kim! The portions were small but extremely filling! I was barely able to finish the last two stops. Wear good shoes, there is a lot of walking!

We really enjoyed our guide who was great at explaining Japanese culture and also giving us a perspective on how foreigners are treated in Japan. Great street food too and generally a really pleasant tour.

My wife and I went on the Osu Walking Street Food Tour and we both had a great time. We loved the food we were given but the experience was made because of our tour guide Erica. Erica was very knowledgable and open to all sorts of questions which she answered in great detail. She gave us an insight into the local market we had discovered, shrines, temples, shops, the sumo culture and of course food. Erica was kind enough to adapt the tour as I was wanting to try a taiyaki which wasn't part of the tour but she took us to a great place. As for the food, it was incredible and Erica was great when recommending different flavours or options to try different options with. My favourite was either the taiyaki or this tasty shrimp sandwich!
