Negombo

We will start with a 30-minute site seeing ride just outside the city. We'll pass the Negombo Grand Mosque and visit Angurukaramulla Iconic Buddhist Temple. Later we'll cross Colombo road and drive through the Main Street to enter the Negombo Town. then we will tour the town to discover the street markets. This is our opportunity to feel the the town vibes of Negombo AKA the little Rome.

We will explore the cultural stretch of the Sea Street; You will drive along the Dutch Canal to enter the Sea Street. There are few prominent Roman Catholic churches and Hindu shrines along the sea street and a community that speaks mostly Tamil . We can also visit the Hindu shrine. Sea street is full of life! The temple flower stalls and fruit tables with temple coconuts are very unique.

Robin was so friendly and was an excellent guide. We got to see so much and learned so much about the city and also a bit of history. Got to see a wide range of sites throughout Negombo. Would highly recommend this tour.

Went with Robin Fernando. Has a very clean and tricked out Tuk Tuk with a sound system that he used while driving, great fun. He is very well spoken, informative, with a sense of humor.

I would highly recommend this tour, we were extremely lucky to have Robin as our guide. We were in the best, cleanest & flashest tuk tuk. At every stop people were admiring & taking photos. Robin went above & beyond to endure our experience was memorable. His English was fluent and knowledge extensive. He gave us lots of great tips re dining, sunsets & beaches. A great day

Great tour of city. I asked my guide to take me to the early fish market which he did willingly. We toured two fish markets, the dried fish processing beach, a Buddhist temple and two Catholic. churches. The tour of the city center was great to get a feel for everyday life in Negombo. My guide was quite accommodating and very knowledgeable of the area and its history. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great tour.

By tuk tuk is the perfect way to experience the hidden gem of Negombo & Robin is the perfect guide with his family’s long history of living & working in the area Communication was made simple using WhatsApp as we needed to change both time & pick up location after booking We were fascinated by the work put in drying & salting the fish at the fish market. An incredible sight, such hard work yet people still friendly with a ready smile Robin is friendly, willing to stop anywhere you ask, takes great photos & has a clean & shiny red tuk tuk. Just do it!!

Great introduction to Negombo with friendly and knowledgeable Tuk Tuk driver/guide Robin. Lucky pick at random. Don't be put off by small number of reviews. See the city with a genuine local and be warmly greeted by many of his friends at the various markets, religious sites and on our tour, even the petrol station ! Sights, sounds, smells and tastes (additional cost juice bar stop) all in one approx 4 hour tour. Fish market a particular eye opener and the Fisherman's church a lovely quiet contrast. Not the cheapest of Tuk Tuk tours but felt good value. Highly recommended. Thank you Robin.

We've had wonderful tuk tuk tour of Negombo today. Robin was a excellent tour guide. His knowledge of the area seems to be limitless. We were impressed with condition of his tuk tuk and the way he conducted himself during the tour. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Robin our driver and tour guide was excellent, his driving was safe and always had our best interest in hand , very knowledgeable about local points of interest, very polite and also helped with taking pictures on the day , he went extra mile to show us around , would definitely recommend this tour especially with robin , thanks mate we had a great time cheers Tanya and Darren

Excellent value, timely collection from our hotel, and loads of interesting visits. Our driver Robin was exceptional, very friendly and knowledgable, and he covered many places in 4.5 hours without rushing us. We would highly recommend this trip, and Robin in particular.
