10.30: Arriving Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, there are 2 Temples were built on the ground of the old royal place, one is dedicated to Dinh King, and the other is to Le King. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnam 11.15 - 12.00: it's time for bicycle to ride around the local village and discover how amazing life of the local people ( This is just for fun and free activity. If you don't know how to ride a bike, you can walk around taking photos or you can stay at the restaurant to rest ) 12.00: Have lunch with Vietnamese cuisine. The vegetarian option is also available

5.00This was an AMAZING experience and something I’d recommend to EVERYONE! Our guide Quy was truly an amazing guide that made the group energy on top throughout the entire day! To be honest I was not too excited in the morning because I was tired and solo - which for me is always a hit or miss on these types of daytrips. But as the day went on I couldn’t be more happy that I went. The morning started with a two hour bus ride towards Ninh Binh - with a toilet and food break (25mins) in the middle. Then we went to the dragon mountain to hike for 1 hour up to the top if you wanted to, but the place also offered amazing sceneries over the lotus garden and caves on ground. We continued on to the Hoa Lo tempel, where we stayed not very long - only around 10 minutes after some brief historical information to look around by yourself. But honestly not much more time is needed there. Then we went to eat the vietnamese buffé - and tbh I was a little scared at first, but the food was really good. There was both the vietnamese food as well as some fries, watermelon, rise etc. perfect for those with specific food preferences. I also want to mention for maybe those who want to know if there is plenty of times where you can take a bathroom break or food break; Quy made sure there were so many opportunities for both bathroom and food breaks - making sure on our way home too that if anyone needed a bathroom break he would ask about halfway home and the bus would stop at the same place we stopped on our way to Ninh Binh in the morning. After the lunch we went bicycling for ~30mins but the time went by so fast. Bicycling through the village was something I at first was a little skeptical about, but it turned out to be one of my favourite things. It was so relaxing and a fun and light experience for everyone in the group. And not to mention the scenery - bicycling through the village with flowers and lotuses and mountains was amazing. Lastly we went to Trang An for the boat ride and I had high expectations of this - and the experience truly did not disappoint. It was crazy views and such a nice boat ride, and 2 hours was more than enough to take in the wonderful views. The boat fits up to 4 people, and as solo I was paired with two sisters and a solo traveling man, and we had an amazing time. Now the review of being a solo (female) traveler on this tour: Something that is very important to me is being able to choose if I want to explore by myself or be with other people, and this tour really gave me that freedom. On the bus I was also given a solo seat; the whole right half of the bus is 1-1 seats so that was nice, as I value my alone time haha. Overall I am SO happy I went on this tour, and want to give another shoutout to Quy - so funny and such a great guide!

3.00Quý was a very sweet guide but the tour is very commercial. You leave Ha Noi in a big bus with 10 other big buses so you can only imagine just how crowded every stop is. Beautiful views at the grottoes.

5.00Our day trip to Ninh Binh was the best part of our time in Vietnam thanks to our guide Quy. The scenery was beautiful and the boat ride on the quiet rivers was unforgettable. Quy was amazing. He knew so much about the history and culture of Vietnam and he was also friendly organized and always paying attention to everyone. Everything went smoothand his passion and humor made the whole day better. I would absolutely recommend booking a tour with Quy if you are visiting Ninh Binh.

5.00Fantastic day trip! Quy was a brilliant guide - very passionate and knowledgeable about his home province of Ninh Binh. The scenery on the Trang An boat trip was stunning, as was the view from the Mua cave viewpoint. The bus was also very comfortable.
