Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries, serving as the political and cultural center of the country under the Dinh, Early Le, and Ly dynasties. Located in the northern province of Ninh Bình, about 90 kilometers south of Hanoi, Hoa Lu is an ancient historical site surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains and lush valleys. The capital city was strategically chosen due to its natural defenses and its proximity to both the Red River Delta and the sea. It flourished for more than 40 years before being moved to Thang Long (modern-day Hanoi) in 1010 during the reign of the Ly Dynasty. Today, Hoa Lu remains an important archaeological and historical site. Visitors can explore remnants of ancient temples dedicated to past emperors, such as the Dinh Tien Hoang Temple and the Le Dai Hanh Temple.
Mua Caves
Múa Cave (also known as Múa Cave) is a stunning natural attraction located in Ninh Bình Province, northern Vietnam. It is part of the Múa Cave complex and sits at the foot of Múa Mountain in the Hoa Lư District, which is famous for its dramatic karst landscapes and historical significance. Múa Cave is not just a cave but a cultural and natural landmark that draws visitors for its scenic beauty, historical sites, and the challenging hike that leads to panoramic views of the region. The main attraction of Múa Cave is the hike up Múa Mountain, which is often called the “stairway to heaven” due to its 500 stone steps that lead to the summit. The hike can be moderately challenging, but the reward is a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape, including the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and the winding Ngo Dong River that flows through the lush valleys and rice paddies.

Was a wonderful experience. We particularly enjoyed the boat ride and the amazing views of the mountains and cave transit. Mai was energetic and informative. Absolutely worth the $37.

My family members were part of Shared group exploring serene Ninhbinh given the chances to be able to work out, getting fit, breathing fresh air, which we couldn’t expect more. Tour leader we met is young, caring and pretty humerous… Well done!

This trip brought us magnificent experiences. It certainly ís a place to be for nature lovers in a tranquil area. Tour package is worthy of the price we paid. But lunch should be improved on the vegan category. Other than that, it was not too extraordinary

Short daytrip was very worth it. Just wishing there had been no rain. Views are restriced by mists. It would be a lot nicer otherwise. Staff worked and coordinated well.

Fascinating tour with good balance of events, hiking, bike ride and boating. Weather was chilly and rainy a little bit. Food was custom made for us and it was good but too much. Plenty of time we had spent, guide was very flexible and fluent in english

We chose to visit vietnam in fall when the temperatures are pleasant while it was not too busy. Having just spent 2 days in ninh bin, we realized it was such an icing for the cake of natural beauty in this country. Affordable prices, and excellent work of preserving nature without over construction for tourism. We had a chance exploring water bird park by boats and trekking to outback parts of the town. Will recommend to more friends

Its been a seamless day, a mix of sporty and historic experience with lots of stories told by fun young guide. Boat paddling in the middle of green jungle rocks was impressive

We booked this package based on recommendations from friends, including Pagoda tour, hiking and boat rides. Friendly people, caring staff. Experience will be better if other guests came back on time and follow guide instructions. Will consider going for 2-3 days next time if possible

A full day out brought us tons of memories. Every place visited is very pretty and we’ll maintained. Especially, we are into trekking up to the top and later on taking boat ride, an interesting contrast of 2 activities. Thanks for a dymanic day
